Evodan2004 has lost his mind part 3. The new changes and goals for 2013.
here is the next order of Ti stuff. BJ owns about half the bolts. i got some extra for my self. the nuts are all his. i have my Ti nuts already out of the bags and mostly on the car. these are for ALL the engine/trans mounts and some other stuff. i went a little more over board with them.
i am sad the paint seems to not stick to well. or is that type of pealing normal when removing the OE bolts?
here are a few pics. you get the idea. i cant get a good shot of the rear trans mount. but it sure looks awesome with the TS mount, fairclough bracket and TIIIIIII.

I do not like the colored nuts but that is all my supplier had. i am going to find raw Ti and replace them. it is only 4.
here is the cam gear bolts and cam angle sensor bolt

you guys already saw all the other rotating nuts and bolts i did. i am just waiting on my Ti axle nuts to show up still.
i also have 1 more Ti box on the way with a few more nuts and bolts. the OEM hardware box is heavy as hell.

While it might not be exact weight its said Ti is 40% lighter. So every nut and bolt I replace with Ti gos into a box and when I am done I'll weigh it. That will give me a good enough comparison. Also some of the bolts are shorter then OEM helping in some savings.

What started as a cosmetic thing to add a nice look simply turned a little out of control. While it is pointless for others I like it. I wish I had to much money but after last weekend and this damn project I am eating Roman noodles for a month.
it all started with the small stuff. just trying to make the underhood look good. i really like the style of bolt and the Ti part was a bonus. then it became a drug. now i am addicted. i honestly need to stop. BUT iam going to make 1 more order for some bolts. i want to do all the one's holding the power steering pump. i dont like looking at all this Ti and them crappy OEM bolts.
Congrats dan Good luck to you in your future, there is no better feeling IMO. The ring looks beautiful, specifics on the center stone and hopefully you got that thing insured ( I m sure you did)
I think I did a project log for my wifes engagement ring it was definitely fun.

the hubs i have no idea. there supposed to be done but i have not heard a word.
You should get a cost on how much it would be to replace all of the transmission case bolts. There are a lot of good size bolts on the trans. And then the Tcase through bolts are very large as well.
Cost will more then likely be around 400/500 bucks. Over the winter I plan to do all the rear suspension and sub frame bolts. Then maybe I'll move on to other areas.
