Probably a scribe line for the center line of the bolt pattern.

interesting - strange that there's a tangible angle to it - everything on the inside of that circle angles up slightly, so it's actually not a flat surface that it bolts onto.

anyway must have done it for a reason, looks like it's normal for this wheel:

anyway no big deal, just thought it was interesting to notice.

255/40-17 to be mounted, then mount to the car, drive to the shop & get the rear fenders rolled!

Oh, the hub mount surface isn't flat. That's interesting, they must do it to get more even clamping force across the hub surface.

yea I mean I'm sure there's a reason - though it's odd that it starts in the middle of the bolt holes. i'll take a look at the mini's RPF1s later but I'm pretty sure it's just a flat mounting surface all the way across.

they are very nice in person - I didn't like them in pics mounted to cars, but they look good here. about a month and half until the first event... can't wait!

My RPF1's are flat.

And yes, the TC105n is an awesome wheel. The Konig's on my car are a bit of a knock off of it...lol

definitely not the first to notice, looks like something designed into the wheel.

According to Weds that is their "Pressure Release" technology which is supposed to keep the wheel from warping over time.

end of brakes saga:

newly designed shims to fit their pads. i dont think this design should cause any more pedal softness, from compression or anything else, but if it does i'll just remove them again.

and the wheels, mounted: the fronts almost look smaller than the rears due to how much space the rears use up. the rears will definitely need a roll, they almost look like they need a pull but i think it'll be fine with just a roll. about -1.6 deg in the rear of camber, but as the ride height currently stands, should be plenty of clearance, the rear suspension shouldn't really compress more than an inch (10k springs)

not the best pics:

I've been running tall tires for a while - 225/50-17 for dailying, 245/45 for racing. I can readjust it, but it was also done on purpose to make sure I'd have clearance, especially in the rear. you think I can lower it a little after I get the fenders rolled?

If the fender gets rolled properly, your setup isn't going to rub.

sounds good - maybe after the fender roll I will lower the car all around a little, before taking into corner balance.

I still have maybe 1/3rd to 1/2" of space between the inside of the wheel and the front rear trailing arm, and looks like plenty of clearance to the bumper tab, so I should be good there.

thanks man!! really appreciate your help with all the wheel stuff.

For an example, my fender to ground height is about 26" front and rear. One a slightly taller tire than yours. I can measure for you tomorrow to give you a better idea of where you can be.
