The Driven Fab Goblin - Evo 8 Drag Car Build
So these came in the mail today.

Got straight to work with them, removed all of the useless brackets, and cut off all the studs I don't need anymore.

I then went through and ground all the studs down, and ground off some rust in a lot of places. I shot it with some bare metal primer for now just so it doesn't rust. I will go back through and prep the entire bay for paint when I have finished wiring the mil spec connector and once I've run the brake lines.

I cant decide if I want to fill in the holes that I don't need to use any more or not. I most likely will, it's just going to take a lot of time. I might get that done this weekend.
Brake lines should be here tomorrow, mil spec connector should be here Monday. I want to get the wiring harness done this weekend, so that next week I can get the mil spec connector done and mounted. I cant decide if I want to run the AEM gauges through the mil spec connector or run them separately. If they go into the connector, they're permanent, if they don't, I have the option of switching gauges later down the road.

So the post lady brought me some goodies today. Stainless brake lines came in, and so did the mil spec connector.

The passenger side line is going to run tucked up against the cowl so it won't be seen. I have a hole drilled to run the line up in the wiper cowl so it's completely hidden, but running that would be a nightmare, because it would have to be run through straight, and then bent, and that just wouldn't be fun to do. The way I'm going to run it now will be hidden when the plastic is installed so that's good enough for me.
I don't like the way this is run at the moment, so I'm going to get a banjo bolt for the top, I might get two and use a banjo for the drivers side line so there isn't as many bends.

I also finished extending these wires today.

I want to get all the wires cut to length, and then this whole thing will be loomed, and properly fastened to the fender rail.
