Getting the car towed over to the new shop tomorrow. Also putting the new lift in, and going to pick up my new welding table top. Busy day tomorrow!

I'm jealous of your abilities and tools. I'm too impatient to do this much on my current build, especially since my beater is a 99 V6 slowstang. Keep up the good work, i'm definitely looking forward to your finished product.

Updates!

Been working on the Evo 8 this week, as we're "in between" projects at the shop and we're waiting for parts to come in. I keep telling myself I'll work on it more when business slows down, but it's only getting busier around here so I guess I'm going to allocate time to getting this bad boy finished.

Started removing seam sealer in the engine bay

Got the front of the frame rails boxed in, I'm going to make the entire front end quick disconnect. Not sure why, but I think it will be cool so that's good enough for me.

Lower rad / intercooler support is welded in. Everything from here out will be quick disconnect.

Looks good, what are you using to remove the seam sealer? Wire Wheel?

A razor blade, a lot of time, and then a wire wheel to clean everything up. If you just use a wire wheel the stuff smears everywhere and makes a big mess.

Your best bet is to grap a package of razor blades, pull up a chair and try to enjoy yourself.

I was gonna say, if you did that with just a wire wheel, I am impressed! haha...

Really liking how your engine bay is coming especially the quick release front end. My front end has a bit of damage so seeing alternative options for fixing it is intriguing. Sub'd!

It's been a while gentleman.

76/70 T4TS EWG going on my X, and a 91/80 T4TS EWG going on my 8. These should be fun.

Awesome build!
I like the wire tuck and fuse box relocation.
I may have to do that myself someday.
