I sent Ambit that photo and said they might want to look into packaging them better.

They replied and said thanks and they will be ordering boxes to ship them out in. If they actually do that it, it's great.

Kudos to them for taking feedback

This thread just gave me the push I needed.. I plan to do minimal bolt-ons on my '12 MR. I already have UICP, silicone turbo inlet, cosworth panel filter, and stock exhaust. The car came with an Agency Power cat-back when I bought it, but sold it and went with the stock unit. I love how quiet it is and I don't really feel a huge power difference. I plan to get an intercooler, LICP, a test-pipe and get dual tuned for 93 and e85.

Ended up deciding not to use the AMBITS for track wheels, decided to go for a set of wheels that I've always wanted.

Enkei NT03+M 18x9.5 +27 Matte Black.

Thanks to Speed Element for giving me a great deal on these and for mounting and balancing my Advan AD08R's.

The AD08R's run pretty wide. The 255/35/18 are basically 263mm. Fit the 9.5's well and no rubbing in the rear because of the +27 offset with no fender rolling is a plus!

Fronts need a 5mm spacer but you could probably get away with a 3mm.

Front caliper clearance:

My Fiesta ST swallows the wheels for transport no problem:

For now, quick crappy photos of the setup bolted up:

Wheel fitment looks great. Gotta love how big of a rim can be put on a Evo 10.

We can easily fit as much and more tire under stock 8/9 fenders, when are you coming out to a local autox for some cone dodging?

9.5" seems just barely doable without a fender roll. Maybe 10" no problem with a roll?

When does the season start? Club website?

255 and maybe 265s can fit without any rolling. 275-285 needs more. We have a good local guy for doing rolling flat (no profile changes) or pulls (what I have, about 3/4" all around).

Im a core member or oregon scca (www.oregonscca.com), and we have an event in two weeks on sunday.

Edit: And sorry for thread jacking. Clean X!

Much like on the 10, offset is what matters. If these where +20 or so I would need to roll the rear fenders.

I've seen a lot of people run 18x9.5 +15 offset with a 265/35/18 tire without having to roll any fenders.

Maybe a all-season 265 that really isn't a 265. Any grippy tire straighter sidewall 265 will need rears rolled with a +15 offset on the 10. The rim itself sticks out from the fender on +15.

I'm assuming you are talking about the Enkei RFP1 in 18x9.5 +15. I can guarantee you that anybody with 265 AD08R's, ZII's, RS3, etc will have to roll the rear fenders.

The only person I've seen that had to roll his rears is because he was on 275 tires.

Then you just talk to hard parkers with nexus tires or have a data set of less than two.

I'm not going to argue about something I now about with utmost certainty.
