Curious on the 5858 spool and whatnot. Grabbing the popcorn and waiting for results !
Are you in the break-it-in slowly and low RPM camp or wail on it like you stole if from the get go?

I'll probably do a couple oil changes, burn off the 91 in the tank and then start tuning.

I have been eyeballing it for the Wife's car for next year. Hang it off of an AMS turbo kit, or an ETS if I can get them to make it with a recirc wastegate.

If anyone is curious, here is the log from the very first startup after having the motor built and the car sitting for over a year.

Notice the exhaust cam is stuck at -33 until I blip the throttle, after which it mirrors closer to requested. I'm assuming the phaser needed more oil pressure to release the lock pin.
