This is an interesting read. Makes you better understand and respect the rev limits.

Is there any website that has a list of all different piston specifications for quick comparisons? I'm looking for piston weights, wrist pin weights, measurements between piston tops to rings to wrist pins, and compression ratio.

I don't think you have to worry about it.
You can also set up a dual map tune and just flip between the two without flashing the ecu.
so if you flip to page 687 of this bad boy https://www.renesas.com/en-us/doc/pr...3b3b0ff78dfff1 it states "Upto 100 times". This has got to be a minimum kind of spec. I lost the hard disk in one of my tuning laptops a while back but since 2013 i have reflashed my ecu 225 times, and i couldn't speculate how many times before then. One thing to keep in mind is unless you are changing the rom itself you probably are only rewriting a few specific blocks depending on what kind of changes you are making. So unless you change the same things over and over again its kind of spreading out the wear.

Thank Bryan. I'll have my tuner tune for 24 psi boost for 91 and 28 psi boost for E85. I'll ask him to tune for 32 psi and 36 psi boost for E85 track days separately. That way, I can flash back and forth as needed.
I haven't decided if I'll use FP Black or FP Red (both MHI).
I guess it will depend on my compression when I get my engine back together. Was told my head will get done by weekend coming up

I originally wanted to max out my ported 71HTA with TurboSmart WGA. But at 51#/min, it's already at it's limits, so I doubt I'll get much more (maybe another 20whp). So since tuning is $$$, I'm just going to upgrade more.
I have FP manifold that I've polished. I also have FP Red and Black. I keep seeing Black hitting boost just as quick as Red, but Red makes torque about 1000 RPMs quicker while Black makes 60+whp more up top.
I need my stock bottom to hang on another 6 - 12 months so I can carefully build my spare engine to swap in. Then I can build my stock engine for long term. So I can beat on this spare engine and see what I'll change for my long life build.
Since my Tranny, TC, and read diff are generally stock, I'll probably limit the torque to 450-500 tq with built spare engine.

By the way, how much power can AEM 320 LPH pump support? Do I need to switch to Wally 450? I have FIC 1650H (and resister bypass) going in soon.
I don't know if I'll run out of fuel pump with FP Red at 36 psi.

Ran some calculations and compared loading between 150mm vs 153mm Pro H and the extra cylinder wall loads are about 3% higher with 150mm rods. For $250 difference on my spare block, I'll save it the $ for my block build.
Just ordered Carrillo MI-4G6T-65906S-04.
