I planned on running the COM event, but it filled up fast, and I don't have a passenger seat yet.

I walked over there on Saturday and got a ride in a Spec Miata with one of the instructors; my god...best experience of my life.

It was at like 30mph, as I posted full course black and was pitting in. See how the car has no body roll?

I usually drive two handed.

I thought a cage on the street wasn't a good idea, since your head can hit it in a collision and pretty much guarantee a trip to the trauma center.

Looks like it has a roll hoop, not a full cage. As long as there isn't room for your head/neck to stretch over the seat back an into the cage, I'd think that's pretty safe.

Full rally cage with extra reinforcements along side your head are the ones you'd worry more about....or passenger in the back of that car.

yeah, it's just a 6 point roll bar. make sure you have fixed-back seats also if you have a roll bar.
i would never get in a full cage car without a helmet
