It was very unique to me when i came from EU, "this is not my fault, this is a hammer fault to hit my finger " approach to the problems.
Specially the writings on basic products, for example when you order hot coffee the mug has to show its a hot coffee, and you can burn yourself, and these type of things.

In part that's because most of Europe uses a civil law system, not a common law system like England, Canada, US, Australia and New Zealand. The US is also bizarrely open to the idea that you can sue for ****ing anything, even if the claim would be unsuccessful at trial.
if you hit your thumb with a hammer, it's the hammer's fault, not yours.
I wish it were like that here. People suing because they are dumb is bad enough.. what really gets me is they WIN? Crack pot judging, if you ask me.
I don't think that it's always about American placing blame elsewhere, so much as being taught you can get rich from it. They knew they made a mistake.. but if you can score a few $$$s from it, why not?

A lot of what you see in the US is honestly bad reporting. Each case turns on the particular facts of that case.
A great example is the infamous "McDonald's coffee" case. I don't know how many times people have ranted to me about how it's proof that the legal system is ****ed and lawyers are vultures.
In reality, the case is an example of fundamental tort law in action. The woman suffered significant 3rd degree burns because McDonald's was, knowingly, keeping their coffee at such a high temperature that they were cited multiple times for it. Why did they do it? Because it saved them money from people getting free coffee by complaining that it was cold. McDonald's openly put saving a dollar here and there ahead of public safety.
At first the woman only wanted McDonald's to pay her medical fees. They told her to screw off. In her lawsuit, she sought the same thing. It was actually a jury, who heard how heartless and callous McDonald's was, that decided she should get millions. Her award was reduced on appeal.
As for the vid: my advice would be that if you are 1/2 way through a turn and understeering, you may wanna get off the gas LOL
