I've practiced in FWD cars hand brake turns, but never got Evo to react much with OEM setup..
Impressive near stock Evo x with open front diff is so competitive and on mostly gravel.

I don't see it pulling anywhere near the shenanigans Evo 5-9 & X do, and reliably, even on road let alone abused near stock rally cars.
RazorLab & mine local shop FFTec has proven stock Ford 2.3 Ecoboost is plenty capable motor, I think can be pushed at least to 500whp on DJ. Maybe even more.
So similar to 4G63 stoutness.
The rest is great on B-Road/Backroad, but not track worthy nor race worthy without serious hardware upgrade. I am not sure you can say swap turbo to EFR7163 or efr7670 and beat it on backroad at 8/10ths?
Great option as delivered off showroom floor, maybe with mild Cobb tune and exhaust modified.
Keep it on sticky tires, and enjoy as is.

I dont personally know that guy, but i know his car the people very well who build and service it, also the tuner who tunes my car, also tunes his etc.

I actually waiting about 3 years now when the transfere case or the transmission will brake , then i will get a dogbox and the front lsd. Basically that is a reason, being lazy. lol
I heard nice things about him, but i am all over the world and he is in canada. I am hoping once we meet though.

I don't have a lot of faith in C&D lap times but impressive showing none the less.
It should, however, be noted that the Cup 2 tires on the RS are much better tires than the stock tires on the Evo, and also the fact that VIR was repaved and widened two years ago (some drivers claim the track is 2-3 seconds faster after the change).
