have you guys never seen a doug demuro video before? this is literally like every other new car review vid he's ever made. some of the stuff he does with his own cars it typically a little bit more entertaining, but new car stuff is generally all like this

This is the first video I've seen. I have just read his articles on Jalopnik?

that was expected, and it will be tsunami of this , like the mustangs leaving of the car show scenes.
This is a reason why i said, i am not sure its a good idea to introduce or advertise a car as a drift car , specially when its AWD... lol

The best is the title of the video... "drift mode epic fail"
Soooo American, of course its a car fault.

Its ok, call it a natural selection. By the way in this video the RS has a under steer attitude...

You're such an expert... you should build cars and run marketing campaigns.

I'm sure Ford considers their campaign a failure because people are lining up to buy a car that they can't drive like the pros.

Judging by the backed-up cars on the road, it looks like the driver tried to launch into the corner from a stand-still. Didn't build up enough drift speed.

i think so. AWD drift is a bit hard to pull it off, but its fun.

You need more ***** then let say for the RWD cars i think, because the entry speed, angle of entry etc.
Its not like rwd when you mess it up you just kick the clutch

Specially the writings on basic products, for example when you order hot coffee the mug has to show its a hot coffee, and you can burn yourself, and these type of things.

That was really unique, and still very American to me.

This was the reason why i said i am not sure its a good idea in America the drifting advertisements. People think they are Ken Block, and the car does it for them, not him or her who essentially makes the car drifting. Its all about the button... I am sure you know what i trying to point out here.
Ford would sell this car without question in a same rate and quantity, specially in this low numbers of production.

There is literally no need for a Drift button, to give false hopes for inexperienced drivers.

by the way , you give about a same HP level as the RS has to the Evo X ( which is really not hard not even expensive) and watch what happens about drifting.
https://vimeo.com/153646722

fun drifting video from an STI too

That is all.
