Ugh I figured as such. So basically interior mat dash has to be pulled and engine side engine should be out. So basically a whole lot of work for either side which means that not something I feel like doing anytime soon. Was hoping you were going to say otherwise...

This is the inner pad material. Its weight is somewhere in the weight reduction thread.

Yeah one of those pads I thought then engine bay side is around 14# which is pretty significant according to that thread off the top of my head. I was reviewing it the other night.

But looking at that pic even once you pull the engine seems you gotta strip the entire thing from relays to brake lines to MC brake booster ABS module literally everything. Just seems so sucky lol!

Just unbolt everything from the firewall. If it's much more than that, I'll be skipping it as well LOL

hm..I guess demand isn't very high for the 6 speeds. still with the low miles you could have got a lot more..I mean the bell housing alone goes for around 300-400 used anywhere I've looked. I always try to sell off the forums. People here de-value parts for their own self interest...that's how it is in any car community though.

That's a fair price with the mileage. I woulda swooped on that too. The two I've purchased had claimed mileage with no proof, so I wasn't about to pay much.

no lmfao I'm just sharing my experience selling my transmission. no need for the sarcasm. I realize it's more than most would see but the guy was in need of one bad and I was the only in that area. However it isn't far off from what most go for. not sure how you find yours so cheap tbh. but congrats for doing so.

Got engine side pad off. Strategic cuts and unbolted wire loop and relay bracket. Not too bad...

nobody wants them, so I wait until a seller has it listed for a while. They will tell me I am lowballing and they would never let it go so cheap. eventually, they come around LOL
none of them have as low mileage as V.8MR's, though.

I spoke to jon at TRE yesterday and he said over $500 and id be doin real good for a 6spd. So i feel i did ok. He also quoted me $750ish to fully service the Tcase. So in the next week or so gonna take another trek to Michigan.

I got my Tomei oil slicer/baffle today. Waiting on STM egr delete, ER phenolic spacer, arp ss exhaust mani studs. Bunch of little stuff.
