I know this wasn't intended for me but allow me to be nosy for a second. If I felt like this guy was the biggest idiot and deserved to die (which I don't) I wouldn't say ANYTHING to their family in their face. I would like to believe people can be sincere enough to know that is wrong. Saying something like that in their face doesn't make them a man, it makes them heartless.

haha... no no, i know they do, i just wanted to remind them that that is still an option lol

I love the internet tough guys.... I really wish they could bottle up all that aggression, follow me on a jet overseas and take it out on the people we should be. Then again, the internet tough guys learn really quick that Ghost Recon isnt so fun when you dont get to respawn

I can relate to that comment. I think there's lots of people on the internet that say things that they normally wouldn't in a face-to-face communication.

But it IS a public arena, and if someone doesn't like or agree with what someone else says, then so be it. It's the first amendment and something that those real ghost recon guys are fighting for...

That is why I always pick the Sniper....you can hide in the distance and pick people off 300 yards away.

I wasnt saying that his parents are on here! But he could have really close friends, a brother, a cousin, someone who is on here and then happens to come across a thread saying " evo owner dies in accident" with respones along the lines of hes a dumbass and deserves to die for his actions! Im not supporting street racing, I think its dumb, Im not respecting the kid for his dumb actions! Im being responsible and being sypathetic torwards his friends and family!

I gaurentee (sp) you that his gf who is seriouly injured isnt sitting there saying my bfs a dumbass for street racing and should be dead! Shes most likely sad as hell bc not only is she seriously injured, she just lost the love of her life!

If you think the kid a dumbass, so be it! But dont sit on here and cut him down to where any of his close friends and family can be hurt anymore than they already are! Give his family and friends respect and let them mourne without being brutilyzed (sp)!

and to MREVO, tho this comment"I'm pretty sure that his family isn't on this website" I personnaly have a brother in law, and 3 really close friends who are on this site! So there very well could be people really close to him on here!

Just let the poor family grieve over a horrible thing without being tortured by people that should be supporting them, even when we dont support street racing!

Your idea makes sense, but it's not realistic.

I'm not going to censor my thoughts because MAYBE someone will see them. Where on this website is the guy's family? Show me some screennames.

Yes, what happened was unfortunate. Obviously it was a poor decision on the part of the deceased. But I'm not going to tiptoe around, say things like "RIP" or "my condolensces to the family" because those things are pointless. I personally have no thoughts about that individual. I never met him; he's just a statistic. Also, I have no proof that his family will come read this. So why should I say things to them that I don't mean?

The bottom line is that we don't live in the perfect world that you're talking about. We don't all love and respect the deceased. As a quick example, I think of the two men that robbed the North Hollywood bank in 1997 (big news story, they had body armor, standoff lasted 45 min. etc). As a result of their actions, both men are dead. As a result of this Evo owner's actions, he is dead. Do I feel sorry of any of the 3 men? No. Do I think "rest in peace" before I go to bed? No. So why should I post things that I don't mean on the board?

It's nice that you feel that way for the family. But don't expect all of us to with you.

Your not banned. Under your Avetar, it would say "account disabled". The mods closed out that thread to EVERYONE.

These threads don't make sense. If you drive like an idiot, stupid things are going to happen EVENTUALLY. Show some respect for people losing there lives and move on.

No, I have not read this whole thread.

As stated previously, nobody has been banned by me (or any other Mod to my knowledge) for anything said in any thread about this topic. Another staff member removed the thread in question which it why it will not show up.

understand something very important.

This is a public internet forum and there are stupid people wherever you go. And in this case, you can't see the stupid people when they talk and their names are fictional....leading you to no one....

The sooner you learn to deal with it, the less you'll take the comments from the stupid people to heart......

It's a public forum dude, get used to it.....read the comments that mean something, and disregard the rest......
