Noobs and the quest for 50 posts
It isn't hard to get to 50, you just need to know what you are talking about in technical forums. Sure it doesn't hurt to have been working on cars for a long time. I have been a member here for a little while but I recently started becoming more active and the count goes up. Spend more time in Drag, Dyno or Engine and you will have your 50 posts in no time.
Oh yeah, quit complaining about it

yes but thats some part of the issue what if your not mechanically inclined like some guys in here and are looking for direction or help on how to do stuff and your not able to contribute in terms of helping others and all you can put is the simple "thanks for the post" or "+1" that dont count anyways cuz they really are not true posts. Just have to take into consideration not everyone here are mechanics or are looking to give someone bad advice by mistake.
I agree with the 50 post req. but I don't like it when a few of my posts don't count especially posts from threads that I have started. If you want to buy something just send a pm I have an Itrader score of 1 but it really should be two (got dp and tires from here). Obviously you can't sell stuff till you hit that 50 mark so just keep puttin your 2 cents in a few threads.
Btw: I hope this post counts and raises my count. lol.

You must have at least 50 posts and have been a member for 60days to post in the for sale section. This rule is in place to inhibit scammers and spammers.
These posts must be in the relevant sections of the site which do not include regional and off topic, among others. "Post whoring" of useless posts repeatedly to get to the 50 post limit will result in an infraction.
Once you reach 50 posts, the system will take some time to update. This is typically as much as a day before your account is updated and you are allowed to post in the for sale

I got to 50 posts before I got an EVO. Only because they were not allowed in Canada up until a year ago. So I had lots to ask and learn. Just think of something and start a new thread. Talk about your last car and say it was better than the EVO. And people will say why did u buy an EVO if that was the case. And you can get your 50 post just on that conversation!
Hi everyone,
I'm closing this thread as the original question has been answered. It has become a 'drive by' depository for short comments to increase post count. Which is ironic since posts made in this forum do not count. Please note we understand some new members are very anxious to use the Market Place. We are equally anxious that you meet the site requirements for using the Market Place by positive contribution and participation in our community. Thanks.
