I doubt anytime soon. Mark has his hands busy with the new migration to the soon to be newly established site.

 

Mark is going to be busy with migrating the site over to the new servers over the next few weeks. I wouldn't expect any new stuff to pop up that isn't included with the new version stock forum software. I am sure that after he gets all the bugs ironed out, we could revisit this idea and see how/if it could be implemented.

But in the short term his focus is on getting this site moving more rapidly...

New site as in migration to stronger servers and vb3. Details when its already too late

 

Mark bought some servers. In a short few days/weeks, he will no longer be relying on renting server space from someone else. Evom will be running it's own hardware!

But as he is switching this site over to those new servers, he will be updating the sites top page, updating the user-rides section and upgrading the site to the new version of vBulletin.

 

I I think the moderators on this board have been a little tight especially in OT I mean the perfectly good threads that could be hijacked to closing threads for no good reason I'm just young so you guys probably won't take what I have to say seriously but I thought I would just voice my opinion. If you have anything further to say I am on AIM.

 

I thought we already established that numerous times already in this very thread about the same damn topic.

I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, but the main posters in this thread citing overmoderation seem to include a person who is applying to be a moderator at the moment, and a member who reports a very high number of posts/threads to me asking me to trash them. Am I missing something here? April fools was 2 weeks ago.

I clicked on "Report this post to a moderator" button when I saw a thread get closed, and I didnt't receive a reply. Is it because you mods are getting too many of these to repsond?

 

I though I contributed greatly to this thread and yet I'm neither one of those two, at least to my knowledge.


SC any ideas on when the migration'll be, how much down time? Will there be an announcement before the down time?

 

I'm a little late here but i'm not to peeved about my post getting closed as it was an honest mistake.

Street racing has been a part of this site for a long time and there are many posts containing kill stories. I do understand though that with all the sponsorships/vendors on the boards these posts need to get cut back as they don't want anything to do with promoting illegal racing.

That being said i could word it as "my chick dusted a 350Z twice last night!!" "First time he thought it was a fluke and second time he found out that my chick/car was highly underestimated!"

Stating it like that doesn't imply anything as it could have happened at a sanctioned event... however it does still get my point accross. My point is that we can still talk about many things we just have to think about our words and phrases we use. Some call this loop holes but i prefer to call it proper forum etiquette.
