Overmoderation?

My thoughts on this, its just that you've never seen us put more work into threads. The members in general were used to the "laidback" type feeling (which would eventually turn in the wrong direction, one way or another in terms of letting go insulting posts, etc...).
But honestly, we close/delete/edit/move threads for a reason. Maybe the members in general feel we've choked the necks of the threads, preventing you from having "fun," or "whoring" the threads to the fullest.

I think I would only consider mass pm'ing people if the thread had a button (for mods only) that allowed us to do so with one click.
Yup... more work for u guys. *Sips the mai tai* (On vacation).

Actually, I subliminally commented on it about 2 weeks ago after one of my threads dissapeared. It was about something illegal, so I understood after the fact.

I still think Jack and Coke is better. Me speaking about alcohol is illegal too, would you also delete this?
I'm not having a problem with the moderation, just the fact that it's been inconsistent in the recent past. Perhaps an announcement each time you decide to change moderation techniques?

Ah, I didn't prepare with examples. I didn't know it would turn into this, to be honest.

I think what you wanted to say has been said. There not much else to be accomplished here, IMO.
Also, half the time I bump a thread I bump it for a relatively good reason. The last thread I bumped was a Scubadiving thread from 2001, after I bumped it, I noticed that 11 people posted there. (By the way I just searched and bumped it in OT). Suprisingly, the threads I bump end up closing quickly, although most of them are relatively addequate for continueing to post rather than create a new thread.
