Where do y'all take your cars besides the dealership? Anyone know a good mechanic that specializes in Mitsubishi? I'm just curious just in case I get tempted to mod my car and need someone for a major install.

LOL...yea houston kinda sucks. But if you just want to do installs I trust Carboy with my car. I'm gonna let them install HKS 272 cams on my evo in a couple of days. As far as tunning goes, the only shop that has an AWD dyno in houston is Turbochargers.com.

 

How's Carboy's pricing?

Be nice if someone like Stoopid got into tuning these cars. Actually, last I heard he was off working the pit crew for some drag racing crew, not that it matters . I know we have some fast Civic and the like here in Houston so, hopefully, someone will pick up on the idea soon.

As an aside, am I the only owner that has yet to see a single other Evo on the road?

I've seen plenty here Houston. Maybe it's your location. Last one I saw was a female Evo owner driving down Westheimer. BTW, anyone remember a female member saying that she had the Puerto Rican flag hanging on her rear view mirror?

 

I think their pricing is fair, although others might disagree. But i'm willing to pay a little extra to make sure it's done right the first time.
