As far as I am concerned if you can be "scarred for life" by a comment from someone whom you don't know or respect you've got more serious issues than a bad hair day. Her rehab should be going over to Iraq to see what scarred for life really means.
Scott: because it came from a white/redneck looking guy it's a huge deal. sometimes people forget on tv or the radio that what they say will rub people the wrong way. I wouldn't call people nappy headed or w.e cuz theres just no reason for it not every1 has perfect hair or can get their to look good anyways =). I think it was a huge deal because he instead of using the N word to refer to people w dark skin used the nappy head (so 2 terms to refer to black people, thinking the N word is 2 extreme lol)term which they use amogst themselves to diss on one another about their hair.
Hope u understand, if not well I just wasted a paragraph

Ah, Nappy head is unkempt hair...In the older days "people" would refer to black peoples hair(white people looked at it as nappy...maybe cause they didn't have a comb!!! Too busy picking cotton) as being Nappy. I guess it looked knotted, and clumped, messy.
Nowadays its one of those words that black people still use, my mom would refer to my hair as "nappy" If it was growing into a fro or just looking silly. She said "you nappy head fool" my mom would jokingly say. However, she never called me a Ho though lol...
I would say the girls were overreacting, however, with this guy you have to read between the lines. One too many racial remarks and innuendos from "cowboy billy"
Joey is a racist...i am the ONLY black friend he has...I knew he was racist when he started counting them out and stopped at ONE! ...Get outta here Joey...go back to France lol

If a black guy said those comments nothing would have happened. If faith hill instead of Janet Jackson had the "wardrobe malfunction" nothing would have happened. The very people who always get offended or call people racist are what is wrong with the system. They are usually the biggest hypocrites and racists. I can't wait until these ****ers get old and die. Hopefully the next generation of politicians/activists won't follow in their footsteps. (parents hit me so I need to hit my children)
My best friend when I was little was black.....but then my dad sold him so he could buy me a bike.
