Can't really say I'm a newbie to the Lancer but I am a newbie to the area and to finally deciding to mod up the ride. Got my lancer off the truck back in November and I already have 25k. I know thats a lot, but I had a lot of places to go. Anyways, here's when I'm free to meet up, and hopefully this will start something for everyone else to reply.

well, I moved down hillsborough near oldsmar. i miss orlando but I'd like to start making Tampa home. When do you guys usually meet? I have also heard of some meet up places around town that I should check out. Ya'll go out there?

 

it's very sparse. everyone is very busy.

 

Yeah, when we meet it's a treat. Like B meantioned all of us are always so busy and have such a varied work schedule that it's hard to schedule a meet for all of us to show up at once. We usually meet in the underground section (1st floor) of University Square Mall parking garage off of Fowler. Or we meet up at the old Circuit city building off of Fowler. Each and everytime we have tried to meet up in the past we have been rained on. I think it's a curse.

Are there any sites that your aware of that have emoticons, such as the one in your av, at?

 

I think there is . . . the thing is . . . it may work or not. Everyone has their own code to create one. I do know one person who seems to have a treasure trove of them . . . I can contact her through a friend.

My emoticons . . . I stole it from a local DSM site (somewhere in the US, not in TB).

well, do any of you know of any good shops to go to around here? places where they dont rip ya.. or do any of yall own or work at one? i'm lookin to paint and might need a lift and access to tools.

 

Me, personally don't know of any shops locally or really know anyone that can do work at all really. I haven't really had any money since I've had the car being that I'm only 17 and I push carts for a living. So I've been saving up everything I get so I can have a good down payment for the car. My parents will not spend any money on it at all as far as helping me pay. In the near future if I infact do find some places that can get you parts or if I know anyone I will get the word to you. About the only place I can say that you might have a chance would be Racing Zone.
