Went to slamfest . . . my first time. it was okay.

R/T doesn’t have any effect on ETA, just possibly a hole shot or psychological advantage.

1) 3.432 -> 13.376 = 61.34 (bad 60 foot times = bad spd).
2) 2.926 -> 11.607 = 63.33 (same as above)
3) 2.587 -> 11.339 = 61.13 (misshift?)
4) 2.630 -> 11.194 = 63.50 (good shifts after bad launch)
5) 2.622 -> 11.355 = 62.34 (hit near redline)
6) 2.508 -> 10.951 = 64.17 (great 60 foot = highest spd)
7) 2.567 -> 11.000 = 64.49 (same as above)
8) 2.554 -> 11.639 = 61.64 (misshift somewhere or bounce redline)
10) 2.767 -> 11.363 = 61.46 (hit near redline)

If tagging redline, your spd will be a bit higher but sacrificing ticks on the ETA.

2.4 sec is average on the 60 foot times . . . 2.2 sec is great for NA.

Did you hold revs and at what rpm?

Using stock tires . . . traction maybe an issue, but not much from my POV on your 60 foot times.

I will try to get an O-town OZ owner to post here. IMO, he has the best time on stock trim (I might be wrong).

Talking Flattery will get u no where.

Thanks Bahamut but technically I am not true stock. I changed to a K&N replacement filter and I took off the stock muffler and had Midas weld on a performance one. (No piping)

Anyhow I had never been to a track before and I had a lot of trouble keeping my foot from flooring the pedal and spinning the wheels with over excitement. Here are my times from slowest in 1/4 to fastest but all you need are the 60ft, 1/8 and speeds

60ft - 1/8th = MPH --1/4
1) 2.520 - 11.454 = 60.72 --17.873
2) 2.646 - 11.434 = 62.79 --17.644
3) 2.558 - 11.258 = 61.69 --17.598
4) 2.609 - 11.305 = 63.38 --17.474
5) 2.509 - 11.185 = 63.04 --17.404
6) 2.538 - 11.113 = 62.94 --17.350
7) 2.568 - 11.076 = 63.41 --17.267

I believe the fastest time I rolled it off the line before really gunning it so there was minimal wheelspin. I shifted before 5500 rpm also as has been recommended.

The slower times I posted I started to shift near redline 6K rpm.

I hope this helps your discussion and if you want the 1/4 mile times I can edit and post those in.

Hello swhskenr

I edited in the 1/4 mile times.
I live on International Drive North not too far from Disney.

Good times. What type of tires are you running? still stock?

hey wadad.. international huh? traffic must be a b*#&@! but n e ways.. ya.. i still got the stock goodyears with 26000 or so miles on em.. there like slicks, without the benefit of slicks... i've been tossing back and forth the notion of getting 17's with nice wide grippy z rated tires or some nice wide 15's to go on my already light and cheaper stock rims.. sooooo.. i have made my decision.. as soon as i can find a place tommorrow.. i will be purchasing some nice 15 inchers .. heh.. if anyone has anything against that please speak now or forever hold ur peace..

Sorry, didn't go. Replaced my O2 sensor and started to fix alarm and electrical problem.

Here's my old timeslip (1.5 yrs ago). I'm wayy faster now with the new O2 sensor . . . still a bit of idle problem (will fix later).

Outside temp was +95 degree. Track temp felt like 102 or more; if I didn't drink enough water, my brain would have been cooked by the sun.

Just Intake, Header, and GSX FP running full rich and beyond upon 3rd gear.

A rookie who didn't hold revs.

RT: 1.498 (waited for the light)
60': 2.635
330': 7.542
1/8 mile: 11.511
1/8 mph: 63.18
1000': 14.963
1/4 mile: 17.887
1/4 mph: 76.71

Trip the second light . . . sacrifice the 60 foot times for lower ETA.

RT: 1.228
60': 2.734
330': 7.595
1/8 mile: 11.523
1/8 mph: 63.91
1000': 14.930
1/4 mile: 17.793
1/4 mph: 78.45

As expected, I was running approx 122-127 flywheel HP. My stock 1.5 inch exhaust piping really killed me on the ETA (also the richness on fuel).

Sup people. I replaced my old spark plugs and found that the old ones were the same that I was puttin in there. NGKs. Do the lancers come stoc with them? Well, I did that and reset my computer. I was talking to some people, and they told me it looks like I'm taking in too myuch fuel and that's why I'm havein problems taking off. If thats the case, DAVID.....that thing you got on your dash, you can set the air and fuel mix on it right? Well I think there selling somethng like that on the site. That should take care of my prob. Anyone care to put there 2cents in?
