I met up with Ben today, Somehow the cable "lost" it's serial number. When it tries to connect it shows the 1.3openport blah blah stuff...then the serial number. Problem is mine shows all zero's. I saw a thread of another situation like this. Tactrix can send you a program to re-serialize the cable. I guess that's what's in the works for me.

You guys know me.. I like stuff perfect and I damn sure wasn't going to let a 3' usb cable whoop my ***.

alright... my car gets here Wednesday but now my company has scheduled a last min field op to Lima5, leaving Wednesday! just my luck, but any ideas/ solutions. (i.e. a place i could pay to have dropped off there and held)\

You have a couple of options here.
1. Tell your plt sergeant that your car gets here Wednesday and you have to sign for it. Shouldn't be a problem with getting you back early Wednesday to make this happen. If he says no then you work the chain of command like you are supposed to.
2. I don't have a problem with you having it sent to my house, but I will be in school and my wife works. No one home at the time, so if it has to be signed for that won't work. (send me a PM if you want to work with this COA)

when i got mine shipped here from home(CA) i just got it dropped off at one of my cpl's house...i would suggest having it delivered to somebodys house in another unit or somebody whos staying back that you trust... where in cali are you from?
