Oh..I meant to bring this up. I went to pick up 5 gallons of Methanol. I met quite possible the biggest hill billy I've ever met. It was at a machine shop/engine builder shop for v-8 stuff. He was talking about them adding some type of "top end" oil into the methanol since when it's burnt it dries the top of the cylinder and cylinder walls. You guys ever heard of that? I never have, and didn't know if us mixing it 50/50 negated needing it.

Hahaha...I didn't put anything in the methanol, he said it was a common thing for lubrication..but they're probably running this through a carb. I can see that oil coating the tb/im and eventually fouling the plugs.

 

My evoscan is acting up again..I'm about to download 2.4 I think it is. When I try to load my xml into the map tracer, it pops up an error and won't let me see my graph data any other way than the excel spreadsheet.

 

its 2.6 now, with a beta 2.7, im hoping to have the fmic and tbe ordered the 29th if my tax return hits the bank, if so ill be coming up to f-ville finally.

 

You ever give that serial logging cable a try? Just wondering how it worked out for ya..
