**** dude, I was looking for you out there, I saw the car but didn't see you.

eh, it was some trumped up bull**** really. He said he had a "report" of us weaving in and out of traffic, when we were cruising ~ 80, and the only weaving I did was to get around this jackass that kept slowing down as he was passing someone, then speeding up again.

I was cool, did my usual, throw the keys on the dashboard, interior lights on, yes sir, no sir, informed him before I even moved to go for the glove box... etc... he was cool enough, asked if we were heading to the track then let me go without even a tongue lashing.

That track ****ing sucks, I only got 2 runs in 4 hours, while all the "fast cars" with slicks ran tons of times.

I've got some issues to work out, basically I found a bolt missing of my turbo flange, so I'm losing boost up top. with just a tad bit of boost control, it was hitting 21, falling to 16 and rising back to 19 in 3rd and 4th gear.

first was on basically wastegate pressure a 2.09 60ft, 13.164 @ 106.28

I turned the boost up a bit, was able to peak 23 and hold 20. Oh, and I figured out my antilag

that was a 1.9 60ft, 12.508 @ 114.11

so, now my o2 sensor quit reading. Lord knows how long it was in the car, and it's right off the turbo, so I knew it was coming. It was definitely the antilag that did it in, you can see in the log where it was measuring....... antilag...... 14.5.......... Oh well, gotta pay to play.

If I had another run I think I could have gotten braver with the boost as I had maybe 2volts of knock at most, and gotten into the 11's.

all in all, I'm pretty pleased for a fully self (Very conservitively) tuned standalone and my first time ever launching at the track with AWD.

/sorry bout the book

just the sensor? carquest carries them for about $80 last time I checked. if you're talking about a whole unit, then I dont have any suggestions other than get the one that interfaces with the aem.

just the sensor, I'll have to check with em... 80 seems to be the going price.

for some reason I was thinking that certain VW's had em factory, so it'd be pretty easy to get one local.

Does anyone know a good place to get a transmission fill plug for an evo? I found out today that mine is missing. I dont know where it went and I dont know how much fluid is still in there but I need another plug BAD. So if anyone knows where to get one or has an extra one, i'd appreciate some info. Is it the same as any of the other drain or fill plugs? Lancershop has transfer case and rear end drain and fill plugs, but none for the tranny. My car will be sitting until I get one. Thanks.

its just a bolt. not sure what size, but I suspect you can get one from lowes.

Yeah, its just a bolt, but I dont know the length, or size or threads or anything. I dont think Lowes is going to let me go out in the parking lot with a handful of bolts and try em til they fit. Actually I'd have to take them to my house.

its short. 1/2 to maybe 3/4 of an inch. If i had to take a WAG, i'd say its 14mm and coarse thread, but I didn't spend much time looking at it last time I had it out.

you can cover the gamut at lowes for about $5
