WTF....we had like 750 posts of friendly chat on this thread and today we have all kinds of whining and name calling. Jesus, you new guys need to get off your rags (no offense to any certain evolady's) and learn to play nice. Linux admitted hes not the best driver, he bought the car with those mods, he just started dragging, he doesnt claim to be a pro. So what if he talked a lil trash at the track, its all in good fun right. I like talking a lil Sh*t at the autox, despite the fact that im never the fastest evo out there.
Well sir, I think mid 11's on pump gas are pretty damn good despite air temps, humidity, etc. I never claimed to beat you or run my mouth in any way for you to mistakingly think that. Name one other person from the southern region with a similar setup running my times on pump gas...
as far as abuse on the car, since all of you are obviously better at this than I am, you'd still only have made 4 passes, and might have had a chance to get back the cost of entry or better (thats 1 qualifying and 2-3 races depending on the rest of the field). I think since the field was full @ 16, anyone making it past the first round got $50..
who cares!!! it is a car! big deal, mines bigger no mines bigger... who cares!! none of you will ever be a race car driver, nor will your car ever be in fast and the furious... so really who cares!! i have an alero that runs in the 20s does that make me uncool?!
maybe i will be done friday... my guess is going to be no... but if by chance i do get my synchros in... i have 4... 2 left to get they all came from different places.... stupid MITSU...
anyone have a turbo!? i dont even care what it is... i need a turbo, mani, downpipe and 02... any or all of the above would be great...... i can get a tommy maiken, and a MAP o2 dump downpipe for cheap from my boys at map... but just seeing if anyone has anything else?!

Wow you should calm down there buddy... In no way was this directed towards you so why did you even post that? This is not a discussion on who is bigger/better by any means. Just that you shouldn't talk **** unless you can back it up and we have already settled this convo so why are you instigating it all over again?

I will not deny any trash talk, and you were hot to trot about the fpred comment a couple weeks ago-I really didn't mean it as an insult, but I'm not apologizing about any of it.And I am disappointed in the car, a little bit, but its biggest problem right now is me. You guys all had it down and ran pretty consistent, I couldn't buy a consistent run sunday if I'd wanted to, either from it doing something wierd off the line or me missing a gear. And given the amount of boost I ultimately did run, it didn't go very fast. Again, I'm not claiming to be billybadass with the evo, but while we're on the subject, you didn't step up to the plate like your buddy did and run in the street tire class. I knew before I even got to the track there wasn't a prayer for me, altho I felt better about it until I made my first pass.
I am relatively new to the evo thing, I've own the car for two years, bought it from a friend with most of this stuff already on it, and only in the past month and a half have I sat down and started to really make it 'my' car. I've been doing the volvo thing forever and the evo was just a neat technically fascinating and reliable mode of transportation until the clutch finally blew up.
And I think the guy with the 3071 qualified behind me, so as sad as it is, I did actually manage to run a faster time at least once Sunday. And, I probably posted the slowest time out of the evo's that ran too. It is what it is.
I think I could of ran alot faster, got some serious knock in 4th gear. Just pulled my fuel pump filter it has so much dirt in it, that explains the leaning out issue now and the extreme whine sound during a long highway drive. Its my fault should of retuned my car a few days in advance not during the event.
Yes. I'm a ****ty driver. I'm not arguing that, and I even said as much earlier. Feel better about yourself now?

If I was there then both of you with your babydick turbos could be talking **** to me as I could only manage a meager 12.5 @ 116 on friday night on pumpgas.
(yes, I know a 35r is only slightly smaller than my 6262, but it's still smaller :P )Granted it was the first time I've EVER driven an AWD at a track, and there's a leak at my turbo flange that was causing me to spike 22 and drop to 18 almost immediately.
