Well, I ordered one and the washer from Serra in Bham this morning. They have to order it of course, but when they get it on wednesday, they are supposed to UPS it to me. So I should have it Thurs or Fri, depending on if it comes in in time to be shipped Wed. So thats where I am. Im actually lucky cause my wife is having wisdom teeth surgery tomorrow so I have the use of her car. It still sucks though.

Now Im on to the task of seeing if I can get HKS USA to let me send my coilovers to them for a rebuild. They dont answer their phones, so we'll see how big of a task this will be.

Well evoWWrs, if you want to drop me a plug in the mail, that would be really nice of you. It would probably get to me in one day even by regular mail.

Oh, and yes, Sunny King Mitsubishi closed down. Apparently they boxed all their parts up and sent em back. Really sucks cause I have used them in the past for service and they actually were really good. So now I have to go all the way to Bham for anything.

What kind of oil filters do you guys use on your cars? I have always used the stock ones, which I got from the dealership, but its a real PITA to go to Bham just for an oil filter. The ones that you get from autozone or wherever just dont look big enough. I dont know if its the wrong part number, but they look TOO small. Im afraid to try them out. So yeah, what do you guys use? Part numbers would be wonderful if you know them.

Stock Mitsu filter only, ever. Period.

Just buy ten of 'em your next trip to B'ham.

nobody but me drove my car. Bogged on the first run about 20 feet out and went a mid 12, sorted out the second run and then spaced out and forgot to shift, still went 12.0, ran three 11.7-11.6's @122, and I really don't know what happened on the last run. rolled off at 7600 and it just... stuck. at the top of 3rd I wasn't catching the Z, so I just coasted.

I'm not john force, yesterday was only the second time I've drag raced the car with the new stuff. Friday night it was consistent as hell with 1.6 60's at a lower stationary limiter. Sunday my average 60' including all the ****ed up launches was about a 2.1 , best 60's were 1.7's.

There's a long list of people that have faster cars with smaller turbos than me

But I still had enough sack to step up to the plate instead of trying to call other people out for not running T&T :P

I was surprised as well, and I (as well as the people who host IFO, i'm sure) am glad you came out. The past few times I've gone, its been fairly absent in terms of evos. This time it seemed like there were more in attendance but you're right--no one was running. I watched your car go down the track one of the times, it was a hell of a pass , two other guys came up from down there--both in wingless black 8's. I talked to one of them, but I don't think I bumped into you. I saw at least one other evo out in the parking lot (yellow), and I thought at least one of the local guys would have come out but they didn't.

In years past, several of the b-ham crowd have shown up, not sure where they were this time. Walker (drifto) probably would have brought his car, but he blew the head gasket a week or two ago (he's another one on the long list of people ****ing me up with a smaller turbo--3076 trapping 127)

It didn't help that it turned out to be hotter than the hinges of hell, I can feel all the spots I missed with suntan lotion. If you can get back up here in november I bet your car will be a fair bit faster. Just in the temp difference alone from friday night to sunday at noon I lost about 3mph.
