I think shift lights are a waste of money IMO. I find that just watching the needle is pretty effective. I'm not trying to bash or anything just trying to save you some money.

^ true , i just want the light so that i can keep my eyes straight ahead going down the track instead of looking down at the tach

if i mount it on my dash its in my range so that i look straight and thats it

Im pretty sure you need to connect it firstly to the fuse box then remove your cluster from you dash to gain access to the RPM wire *be careful tons of guys killed their cluster* then I think that pretty much it their may be even more wiring to the engine bay but im not sure about it. Lastly when setting it make the light turn on about 500-1000 RPM before your desired shifting RPM since of course by the time we see the light and shift it would then be at the RPM needed.

i been looking at alot of dyno sheets i think to dial the light at 5500 would be good cuz that gives to 6000 to shift , duno if ill have one tho it needs to be ordered but duno from where
