CBRD BBK TURBO Available Now!!
Has anyone that uses their car for roadcourse changed from a 20gLT/green to a BBK on an 8 or 9? I'd be interested in the feedback. TIA
Regarding the message above, the FP Red is OFF my list of options due to the various issues associated with that specific application on roadcourse.

Trevor Jones runs the BBK on the old buschur Magnum car, and he had a 20g-lt before that making ~400whp on E85.

Basically, it was this review that made me want to stick with a stock-frame turbo and keep my evo a responsive all-around mad machine and not 'ruin' it with a huge laggy 35R-type turbo (I know I know, this discussion belongs elsewhere). Anyways, Trevor would be a good person to chime in here, and I think that the BBK is the perfect inbetween turbo, it produces red-like power, green-like torque down low, and it uses an OEM center section, OEM oil lines, and OEM WGA.
Switching to a BBK from a 20g-lt/FPgreen will yield similar midrange and impressive gains up top.

im still a rookie so i have a little to learn about the driving aspect but this turbo rocks for this application. to give you an idea i finished in third, 2 seconds off a viper and 600 whp twinturbo g35. we only did one timed trial in the middle of the day but by the end of the day i was making time on both those cars in lapping sessions.

^^ It's not the displacement that's an advantage at e-town, it's a shortened wheelbase like on miatas and minis! Fun track to throw the car around on.
