Since E85 is the way I'm going, I've read a ton of threads over the weekend (and it still continues early Monday morning) and it looks like the BBK Full w/E85 route will be safer for me because I totally want to stay away from what looks like the double pumper requirement. Zach, I really appreciate you chiming in. Thanks.

I just got back home from picking the car up and it is awesome. The spool and power delivery are just like with the stock turbo as far as speed, but then it just keeps going.

It doesn't slam you back in your seat like some bigger turbos, but it hits hard and very fast. It is kind of a deceptive power delivery. It plants you back and then proceeds to rip through the rest of whatever gear you are in very quickly. Before you know it you are at redline about to hit the rev limiter. A good description was that it is kind of like a V8. The power comes on down low and then just continues to push you all the way up.

The response between shifts is incredible as well. You hit redline in no time and when you shift, it is like the power turns off for a split second and then is right back on.

This turbo is exactly what I was looking for, stock like response with the ability to get 400 plus on the CBRD dyno. I couldn't be happier with the turbo and the way the car is running.

For anyone looking to get around 400 hp this is the only choice in my opinion. To have that kind of power with stock spool really is just awesome and way too much fun. Thanks to Chad and everyone at CBRD and anyone who was a part of developing this great turbo. CBRD and BBK FTW!!!

Damn... now I really have to start coming up with some Evo mod money! Good work Chad. I'll definately be adding this turbo to my wish list. Who knows when I'll be able to afford it, but I'll be trying! Quick question, can you run stock injectors on the BBK Lite with a Walbro 255? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I haven't been in the aftermarket turbo mindframe since I sold my S4. =) I'm thinking I could lay down some impressive power with my setup on that turbo.

you could run stock injectors, but you would need to bring the boost back at redline a LOT...

ie not worth it... just get some FIC's or whatever - they are cheap

I agree and I've found myself reading through this thread to stay updated everyday. There is no sarcasm and the responses are timely and worthwhile. I'm convinced that the BBK Full is my choice while I'm in Iraq.

checking in from AZawd.org

this is definitely on my check list now. this is the exact turbo i was looking for. i will be coupling this with E85 as well. Currently in Kuwait, but when i get back, its a done deal.

E85 and FIC 1050cc injectors are fine with this then? i have a regular 255 Walbro, is it going to be suffice?

also, i havent done anything to my internals other than 272 cams. Is my stock rods/crank/pistons going to hold up to this?

I will say this. I just pm'd CBRD with some questions and got a response back within an hour.......on a Sunday night! That ranks up there with Mellon tuning's responses.
This says a lot about a vendor I may be buying a turbo from.

thanks for your kind responses guys.

I look at it this way, if we don't take care of potential clients, someone else will!!

and for those of you in the service...

check out our CBRD military t-shirts... which I can certainly ship with the turbo!!! and at no extra charge!!
