forced performance service

hi all, i wrote my situation here because i try to get help from forcedperformance but it seem like they had no time to support there product. just to advise pepleo who are about to buy a fp turbo.

my problem is that i have a hta71 that have less then 3500 miles on it. and when i do a boost leak 2 month ago, i realize that the turbo had a freaking big shaftplay. ( 5/16 left right and 3/16 up down). So when i saw that, i send a email to fp asking for help about that ,warrantie...etc.. cause of it....

no answer after 2 week.

so i send a other email repeating the problem and explaning that this is my third fp turbo that i bought,( fp green,fp 3052 and now the hta71) and explaying that i am french and its more easy for me to wrote. i had difficulty to speak English so its why i prefer email....

no answer to today. ( first email sending was 10 july)

this is not my daily drive so i don't need the car absolutely.

so i will buy a new turbo from a other compagny that follow their product after they sell it. just a advertising for new pepleo who want to buy themself a new fp turbo....

maybe they pass more time on forum then their email and see this post...

very disapointed

Was this a new turbo when you purchased it or a used one from someone other than Forced Performance. If the turbo failed that fast it did so because of oil starvation, either the feed isnt good, it was temporarily starved in cornering, etc.

yes it was brand new, no rebuilt at all.

what i don't understand however is that i never run out of oïl. ( i put a little bit more then what needed to be sure the car will have enouf in road race application).

i run the brad penn grade 20w50, what fp say to run with their turbo...

and why my 70 000 miles oem evo 8 turbo had no problem with the same boost at the same track for more then the double time the hta last?

by the way, the hta completely die yesterday... so i put back my old evo 8 on it...

just to said, i don't blame the turbo, i blame the Customer service. when i wrote to fp, i did not absolutely want a warranty on it, i just want them to check at it or whatever...

i just wrote my storie here to advise other peploe who are about to buy a new product from forced peformance that the transaction will be the same as buying from a nowhere dude on eBay, without the eBay assurance....

a cbrd turbo will be my next turbo. i do my homework this time....

We put a lot of hard work into building the best turbos in the business, and this keeps us very busy. Consequently, time available for reading and responding to email is scarce.
For questions, product information, or orders, the best way to get a hold of us is by phone.
I understand that you're french and mention it's easier to write an email. However, I would at least give them a call and direct their attention to your email so that they may better assist you. It's really busy for a lot of companies right now as time is running thin with the conclusion of this years race season nearby.

I would at least give them a call and see if it helps you further. I understand the frustration but they do at least mention that contacting by phone is a better method of contacting them.

Did you buy the turbo thru a vendor? A reputable one may be able to call for you so that you may be able to get the assistance you need.

Uh, no. Thats not it at all.

FP is not a 100 person shop with a full online presence. Everyone there works on the day to day more than online. Michael is the only "online" presence they have and he also handles office stuff as well as phones.

You must be thinking of someone else we don't work on cars just build turbos and the same turbos we build for EVO's go on GTR kits as well.

Sorry about the issue with the turbo and I assure you that no one is intentionally ignoring you because we're aware what ignoring an issue does. What e-mail address are you e-mailing? So far I've checked every box I have access to and haven't found any e-mails that match this issue. We also receive a LOT of spam and it may being forwarded to there and it would take a full time job for us to sort through it. This is why we request a phone call for us to deal with issues of this manner. E-mail is not fool proof and there's no guarantee we ever saw your communication.

I understand there is a language barrier so shoot me an e-mail at Michael@forcedperformance.net and respond to this thread when it's sent so I can check our spam filter.

I look forward to resolving your issue.

Thanks,

-Michael

I'm very, very sorry... Thats all My confusion, I was mistaking your company with "Forged Performance" they have lots of complaint threads, and a **** rep for taking members money...

Once again, very sorry, hope things get worked out, and I think that other company is milking/shredding your rep, by using a similar name.... My bad.

Heres on of the Other guys bad reviews, Not about FP, I've heard lots of good stuff about you guys. The link will probly get deleted, but it thought this was the company involved..

good to see that its on the right track now. i've always had good experiences with fp. i think many people will agree that a phone call is the best option when enail is not working.
