wait, so you gained 118 or so horsepower (comparing stock with 91 octane and upgraded turbo with race gas) with that setup?

the Stage 1+ on race gas nets about a 130 hp over stock (185 hp stock on the DD, vs. 315 hp on stage 1+ and race gas)

the dyno seems to indicate that you don't spool until 4500 or so (if you check the torque). what kind of boost gauge is installed in your car?

Every dyno is different. Plus you are not comparing apples to apples here. The stage 1+ that is making 315 on shiv dyno is tuned by C16 gas... I am running 98 gas (huge difference) on top all that I thought EVOs makes around 200whp on shiv dyno since they make around 230~240 like mine on dynojet. Even if I made 15,20 whp less than stage one so what big deal (no worries) I like big turbos . stage 1+ is a great setup and no one can argue that. On top all that The EVO that was speed channel made 250WHP on 91 right? I made 297WHP 91 Shiv dyno... Don’t compare numbers like that because it will just make you loose your mind...

Alex Alex, if you want to read the dyno in a wrong way read it the wrong way. I am not here to prove any points (don’t care) Ask any tuner, real life spool and full boost on the streets its not like on the dyno. I have the Vdo gauge and full boost is on @ 3800 RPM max... people have been in my car and saw it

oh one more point before I leave for the night.. look where I made 200WHP on my setup and look where I used to make it on my stock EVO... Look where you are making 200WHP on your car and compare it with mine... I am about ~15 WHP behind stock turbo till I hit 4100RPM thats when I jump from 200 WHP to 335WHP in 1K of RPM ( go through it again) and you will see what I mean..

im not trying to argue with you. im just making some observations.

1) the Vishnu crew said that the Stage 1+ on 100 makes similar power to c16, IIRC.

2) EVO's make 185-190 on Shiv's dyno, IIRC.

3) I haven't seen that tuner transformation yet, but most Stage 1+'s without a cat run 280 - 285 hp on Shiv's DD IIRC (someone correct me at anytime if i'm wrong, all this is just to the best of my recollection)

4) was your 297hp without a cat or with a cat?

5) i know numbers aren't definitive, but at least it allows me to compare something other than "boy this feels faster"

I dont think im reading the dyno the wrong way. I understand that boost characteristics on a dyno are different than on the street b/c of the way load is applied, but my dyno charts usually show a peak in torque where the boost peaks too (someone please correct this if its wrong, but i think thats how it works?).

Given that the onset of boost varies with load, what gear are you seeling full boost by 3800?

Probably 5th, I see 24psi at 2500rpm in 5th
