Az3ar,
Have you ran anything decent at the track with that turbo setup? I mean the dyno's seem ok...but thats only half the story...just curious since my buddy just went that route.

I am certain that vishnu has dyno's many different turbo configurations, hardly any of those are posted. Besides, the br440 is an option to me & posted for lag reasons.

How did you pay less than 2k for the turbo kit? welldone regardless. I would imagine that running stock cat with the turbo kit was like try to $hit through a straw. Where was your last dyno chart performed at?

The atp kit looks like a good deal, that is why I am asking these questions / doing some research. The dyno plot compare is part of that...I hope you understand my intentions

Hey man no worries. All i said above is to my buddy chris ( my little *****$$). I paid $2399 for my kit installed ~800 for engine management. So yea I was an idi ot to say 2K or 2.5K when its about $3200 or so. When I bought the kit I just did not want to go into the engine yet(cams and so on) I wanted to wait on that till more cams come out and then I do the installation when I do the valve job along with all the other small things. I just wanted this kit because I had ATP kit on my GTI and I loved it and plus garret DBB are the best turbos ever. I love there reliability and there spool as well.

Now I have dyno envy. Think that tubular manifold will help turbo lag, Myhar? Where are you getting yours? David mentioned he might have something available . . .

Well Chris got one from ebay and he had it for almost 3 month with no issues. I went ahead and got one with life time warranty( cant beat that) it looks good to me and it's cheap. I think it will do just as good. I have been told by pros that with my turbo and my boost levels I should see at least 200 rpm better spool. that will put me right in the stock turbo spool exactly. We will install it on SAT wish me luck ...

man only 300whp on the dd dyno...and its an upgraded turbo? Seems low compared to other 1+ car sheets I've seen. Why the trade-off?
