Given that the onset of boost varies with load, what gear are you seeling full boost by 3800?

third gear full boost by 3800RPM.. You need to watch the show it was great

1) the Vishnu crew said that the Stage 1+ on 100 makes similar power to c16, IIRC.

2) EVO's make 185-190 on Shiv's dyno, IIRC.

3) I haven't seen that tuner transformation yet, but most Stage 1+'s without a cat run 280 - 285 hp on Shiv's DD IIRC (someone correct me at anytime if i'm wrong, all this is just to the best of my recollection)

4) was your 297hp without a cat or with a cat?

5) i know numbers aren't definitive, but at least it allows me to compare something other than "boy this feels faster"
Alex;

1) Stage one+ 100 octane makes about 290 hp, AZ3AR's makes 330, a 40 hp gain. If you convert it to crank hp (multiply x 1.4), that's 56 HP difference.

BTW, David had a 3037 ATP stage 2 put down 390 whp today on 100 octane. Might have been a .82 AR or something like that.

2) Stock evo's in a 3rd gear pull put down between 200 and 215 whp on his dyno. the 185 - 190 was a different gear.

3) Correct. some get a little more w/ no cat.

4) ??

Brian, I think he got her a new e55. That typo on the word "cutt" scares me...........

ALEX do you have a dyno for your car? if so can you post some dyno runs... I know that you had a dynojet run long time ago but I cant find the runs anywhere, would you care to post them please.

As far as the peak torque and peak boost is not always correct. Before i did the engine rebuild "of course my setup could not be compared becouse i bought the turbo for future reference not for present time" but anyway on the stock block and stock everything i was making peak torque and peak hp at redline. So it jsut depends on what your setup is. It also could ahve been the dyno though since Matrix is known for very very low torque numbers. Not sure. What i can tell you for throwing on a turbo kit and nothing else really these numbers are very good. Spool is actually exactly like stock. I have seen one of his graphs with a stock pull and this pull overlayed and the spool was identical.

As far as comparing the Stage 1+ to Az3er i believe the Stage 1+ comes with cams. If Az3er were to get cams with his setup you would see substantial gains with that turbo setup "more then on a stock turbo". So really you cant compare unless you want to add another 50whp most likly at least.
Just my 0.02

I have said many many times that I love stage 1+. When I saw the power that this stage puts down I was impressed by every mean. smog and MR Internet Explorer have one and they are running low low 12's. I just wanted to try a bigger turbo that’s all ...

Az3ar,
If you had the cam/cam gears, how much do you think you would have put down on 91 oct on Shivs dyno?

Az3ar,

Nice gains with everything else almost stock. Impressive to say the least.

The reason the car is reading so low is that it doesn't have some of the required supporting mods that even a stage 1+ would have. Once Mhyar gets this sorted out, it will definitely pick up. FWIW, I'm making more untuned on 93 with a 16G than he is with the 3071 on 91. Once he gets cams and completes the exhaust, this will all change.

One more thing: I was there when Az3ar got tuned at Vishnu told him several times that he had WAY to much 91 left in his tank and that he needed to drive around and use some up before Shiv put it on the dyno. He says he was "around" 98 octane on his race fuel tune and I disagree. I'd be surprised if he was much over 96 octane. His numbers were pretty good with the big cork in his exhaust system (stock cat) and a completely stock motor aside from the ATP kit.

I don’t know, but I am not going with HKS cams I will be the genie pig and I will try revolvers cams or pipers with some serious lift

Here is the plan when shiv comes to TT some time next year

Water injection kit (to help pump gas)
Exhaust manifold (to help spool)
Shiv tuning the car on C16
AMS FMIC

After that I will have to rebuild my tranny

Then I am putting my EVO in a diet program (loosing as much weight as I can find)

What were the pump gas numbers and what other mods are on the car?

If you're going with Pipers, you might wanna talk to Erioshi ... he's running pipers in his Evo and I think he's finally gotten them all sorted out.
