Congratulations on EOC!

Congrats to Smogrunner and his 16g-powered Stage 1++ for doing so well at Streets of Willow at the Evolution Owners Club event!!

I heard the car did quicker lap times making only 330hp than both Robi AND GT40's car.

It's true. Paul outpaced robi and gt40 racecars by, IIRC, 1.5 and 2.5 seconds a lap. In smogrunner's plain jane Stg 1++ street car no less

LOL. I thought you meant Smoggy was driving and actually beat Robi and GT40. I was like: "Dubbya tee eff. Did they break?" No offense Tom-ster, but you don't have that kinda seat time yet.

Damn, that's pretty sneaky. I would have tried to make it had I known. I would have liked to witness the trailbraking action.

If paul is the "right" driver, that would imply that Tom is the "wrong" driver. And if so, what does that make you? Let's try to be nice, shall we?

Paul is a master and this event clearly shows that as he just steps into Smoggie's car that has not been finely "tuned" to wring out the most from the car let alone on RA1's while others had months to tweek their platform and were on Hoosier and comparable stickier and/or wider tires.

The beauty of this is that Vishnu's Stage 1++ is so attainable by many and does not break that bank to be a comparable track competitor. The Stages2,3+++ only get better from there.

i dont consider my self a driver near robi or mark talent, im still learning how to control what i have.
I know that Tom is a beginner like me, and to show the potential of any car at the track, driver counts. I have seen 4-5 second difference from an experience driver vs a beginner.

Maybe i should of posted that Paul got the best out of the car, instead of the "right" driver. im not trying to start anything shiv , lets leave it at Congrats Tom and Paul for doing so well at the EOC event.

I don't know, but I doubt they had time to take it to a track for some hot laps to fine tune it before the event.

Big 0 tires did the alignment on saturday. No joking. The rest of the set-up (olins coilovers) came pre-adjusted. Only shock damping was adjusted at the track, AFAIK.
