Dynojets are for guessing numbers

Why would i put it on a dyno whose calibration varies from location to location, roller mass to roller mass and has no fore/aft wheelspeed control which means that a constantly varying amount of whp always gets mysteriously sucked up by an overworked viscous center differential coupling? Afterall, when was the last time you saw a "high-precision measuring device" need a 0-5 smoothening feature?

Land & Sea Dyno... STock fuel pump and on 94 octane... the car made 380 AWHP with out cams, same dyno, location and calibration.. for comparision, the car was 253 AWHP bone stock (05 MR)

*edit.. not a dyno jet b/c the drums are mechanically coupled, still a drum style*

Ya that thing needs a pump. and if tuned abit richer it might make even more power.

Nice numbers

So what you're saying is a DynoJet dyno could potentially allow the rollers to operate at different speeds, while a DD dyno directly links the front and rear rollers together so they're forced to operate at the same speed? Is this why at the last NJ dyno day the WRX's rear wheels would stop spinning at a different time than the fronts? Furthermore... isn't this REALLY BAD for the center dif, like not just overworking it, but very very bad for it?

Is it just me or does that dynochart look like it leans out to about 13 to 1 up above 6k RPM's? And isn't this very very bad on pump gas?

Yes.. but after peak HP is when that happened and the car began to lose power.. Hince why we need to put injectors and a pump in the car.. so that A/F ratio is pointless to this power rating b/c it was 11.6 at peak HP which was before that A/F increase. That just shows the limitations of the stock fuel system.. yes, i guess over 400 hp is max on stock fuel...lol

well, I hope to beat you all. J/k. But seriously, my car put down 293 whp on cali 91 oct. and 326 whp on c16 up at pdx tuning in oregon. That was before I put on my perrin front mount and I have the greddy/denso 720 cc injectors waiting to go on too. I am also putting the ARP head studs in too so I can make more boost. If I am down your way, I'll schedule a dyno run Shiv. The guys at PDX, Tim, Jared, Jeff Perrin, and Sponagul all think my car is capable of really high #'s. I also am runnning the FP TME turbo as well.
