Shiv,
You gotta stop those "racist" comments. That is the 2nd or 3rd time you have made a comment directed towards me implying I am some back woods fool. Maybe if you spent more time addressing questions that people ask a lot of this argueing wouldn't come about. I stay out of your business on the forums, your comments towards me aren't appreciated. As for fist fights, I will pull you into my sandbox with the next one you make.

Dave honestly I know you cant possibly believe that, it makes good e-theatre but cannot be miscalculated that bad. Shiv employs two seriously "Backwoods types" One being myself. One from China, one from Sri Lanka, The other from I dont know where. Is your shop that diverse? You should see some of his friends, I couldnt even guess. The actual improperness is your (on multiple occasions) threats to fistfight, fly across country to kick so-and-sos ***. That type of behavior has a very small window of opportunity. Im sure we all know the pittifulness of AJ Foyt who employed this technique in his better years and now get to get slapped around in the latter years by 20 y.o. punks, The glory of those few short years comes with jeers and snickers not respect. So I dont remember this kinda frustrarion from you when I was a DSMer so I cant really see why you use it when some new vendors overlooks your past accoplishments (which are many)

Mark, I'm game to race. However, the pressure will all be on you, as your mods and new motor should put you at another level.

I can vouch for this! He was so backwoods, we wouldn't let him stay in Texas and only California was foolish enough to except him.

Thanks for your offer Smoggie, but i would rather race stage 3 cars., perhaps the Shop EVO that has run a 11.6...or atleast somebody that run solid mid 11's.

You guys make fun of DB and BIG AL, but i have to respect the fact that both those guys go out and back up their internet talk on the dragstrip.

I'll drop you a line, as my car is almost ready to hit the dyno...with the new motor/turbo.

Just so I'm not mistaken. I have been kicking *** and threatening to do the same since I started doing this over 15 years ago, if you missed out on it when you were into DSM's that is very suprising as I use to be out of control and have a bad temper. Heck I am nice mellow easy going guy now

I'm done here. Enjoy.

A display case with a couple of struts and a single turbo. Pretty high tech arrangement, oh and the one lap car in the back lot and a few WRX's. Buschur's shop. Mulitple bays, lifts. Aisles of inventory. Wall after wall of framed magazine articles spanning over ten years. A real office with many phones, computers, fax, etc. A dyno room, engine room, core and used parts storage room. A fab room with multiple welding machines, stock of materials. Its goes on and on.
Never in twelve years have I seen Dave Buschur make racist or threatening remarks to anyone in the car arena. He bends over backwards to help even those who didn't
buy all of their parts from his company. Honesty is integral for BR. They would rather not make a sale then to force a product on a customer whom doesn't need it.
This is no jab at Shiv. He has a customer base and a following, obviously gets results. Maybe a common ground of respect is all that is needed. Doesn't look like it will happen.
But for him to continually make remarks of where a person hails from or resides. Just remember the next time you point your all mighty finger, how many in your hand are pointing right back at yourself?
This has been a crazy thread!

Ive never been to Ohio but I have installed Daves full downpipe exhaust on an Evo VIII back in '03 in Houston,TX on my buddies Tarmac Black '03 VIII. It took us 1 hour and fit/ran great( Albeit a little on the loud side) but 'woke up' the car along with the neighbors every morning. Very very nice exhaust. The perfect fit/finish of the downpipe/clamps impressed me and made for a quick 1hr install..on the floor..Turbo to tail. If the exhaust is an indicator of Buschers other products than I would be interested in seeing other items for sure! I moved to CA b/c of work change and to get away from TX (humidity/mosquitos/backwards people that live there) After being here I discovered that Vishnus Shop is in my new hometown..Pleasanton, CA! Well **** lets go see whats going on over there being the car guy I am and a future EVO owner.......(maybee at this point)

..........I find my way to the front office after missing the place like 2 times. Immediatly I feel I am nowhere near a space age lab, CNC room or silicon valley dust free microchip facility. I do feel I am around real passionate car guys and a real dirty auto workshop! I dont see anything wrong with that? Ive been to West Coast Choppers in LB. It isnt an operating room w/tube flourescent lighting hung every 5 feet either, but Jesse makes killer bikes. Coming from TX I will vouch CA real estate DOES NOT give you your moneys worth. ALL.. & I said ALL houses are $350k+ even the 40 year old dumpy ones. The much better weather than Texas & lack of cowboy hat cops out here makes up for that imo. CA is the perfect place for an EVO MR w/no Air Conditioning. We get high 40's/50's every single night 360+ nights a year and 3 mos of maybee high 90's (no humidity) & *** loads of hills, mountains & curves to drive. blah blah blah...

....Well I walk in I say "hi" & blend in with one of the sales guys & a customer w/his GF on the couch waiting for his car. Come to find out it was a virgin 300 mile MR on the rollers. Shiv is in the car on the Dyno running it up with laptop ...where else...in his lap! Turns out the customer is getting his brand new MR stage 1??? installed/ cams, ECU/Dynoflash/exhaust. I was there 90 minutes and made freinds with the customer while we benchraced. He let me ride shotgun on the 2nd yoyage after the car was off the rollers!..."WOW" is all I could think after riding in that MR. 3rd EVO id been in/driven & this was the quickest to date. Its only a matter of 'when' I get my 4 door Porsche S4 & swing by Vishnu for the work to be done is what I kept thinking. Its a smaller shop, so what? There might be greasy fingerprints on the phone...that makes me confident that they are busy busting their ***. This years proven published success for Vishnu proves that also. They havnt had time to decorate the showroom for MTV pimp my ride production. Alas, people do not realize Vishnus shop is registered in CA as an actual R&D facility for Mitsubishi N.A. Guess whos working on my future EVO? Anyone whos information is trusted by a 'tier one' automaker can work on my car any day no matter if they have 2 articles or 50 written about them in magazines. 1 lap car was out back.

As for Shivs loyal customer base...." fifteen ricer punk kids standing around" now thats derogatory! The guy who owned the MR was in his 30's & has a Range Rover as his daily driver and the MR was his other car. Hardly a ricer punk? Hell im 31(Look like 23) & drive an AMG Benz, just as fast as a stock EVO but (not moddable) Somebody define an EVO, STi, customer at anyones shop & ill bet you will get a diverse answer. EVO's are owned by all income demographics of enthusiast. Kids that make $11-12bucks hr drive Evo's and 30-50 year old Millionaire's have them also as race/weekend cars/daily drivers. This 'owner fact' proves the validity of the cars performance and its strengths not the shops appearence or client demographics? I didnt percieve Vishnus shop as lacking or negative in any way. The real estate comment about Ohio/vs CA is true. If your not from CA it will shock you how 'small' real estate is out here.

Shiv, based on the Dyno chart & the one lap success & the fact we are in the same zip code, ill be bringin an EVO to ya reall soon...with my hat turned sideways, Run DMC Adidas, wearing punk rock clothes writing a check for $3K. Just dont get any un-professional grease on my Recaro!

I got a kick out of your thread 3.6! Thanks for the kudos I got a few phone calls re: the "punk ricer kids comments" from some of our local customers. I dont know what day that guy came by but the comment most common is that there is a lack of kids hanging around. We value all of our customers but the reality is a Huge percentage of our customers are "mature". Havent kept the stats but if asked Id have to say that the average is at least 35.

Your so right about the real estate costs I literally spit my coffee on first sitdown with Shiv. Now instead of the one unit then we have 3 and still a need for more which we are working on now or going exclusively "invite only" though the possibility of inadvertently excluding people leaves a bad taste in all our mouths. The real estate prices especially irk me knowing that shop space is available in TX for $.35/ft were here we smile for $2.00/ft. But TX is out of the question, stay tuned we wanted to clearly state our intention of keeping prices reasonable for our evo and Subie customers with the new web site before making any new "announcements"

If Curt Brown ever put his Evo on a dyno in 124mph form, what do you think it would put down?
