New Xede Power Record Tests Limits of Stock MAF

Got my car tuned today by Chris and Alfred of Tuning Technologies. I can't download the pics because the camera is out of power and I left the cord behind. Here are some results however:

91 Octane: 405whp and 355 ftlbs at 19.5 psi
Race Fuel: 538whp and 491 ftlbs at 27.5 psi

Here is a chart:

I'll have a lot more info coming soon about the limits of the stock maf.

Please list your mods besides the stroker, 35r.

Head and good intake manifold will flatten your torque curve but congrats...

It was great having Lambtron (Brian) there along with IE Evo, Audi Mike, BogeyEvo8, and the TT Crew. I also put on my new clear cam gear cover. I'm soo mad that I can't show the pics. I'll have 'em up by later today.

You seem to be down some on hp IMHO...540 on that dyno may not even get your into 10's....which i'm sure you don't care about.

The spool and torque look real nice

Maybe its the fact your only pushin 27.5 PSI on that race gas tune.

With a setup like that...What prevents you from uping the boost to a place where the 35r lives?? say 30-31psi? ...The maf?

Keep in mind Evotomig....470whp on the "other dyno"....which would put him in the high 500's down @ TT.

Congrats.....don't be scared of the white STI if you ever come up here

Again congrats...Nice to see the car up and going and now with more power

Chris said an upgraded fuel system (pump fuel lines etc..) would be needed before pushing on any further. The Walboro 255 maxes out around around 550 hp. With supporting equipment Smoggy will be closer to 600whp.

You'll have to tie your car to his bumper to keep up with him after he's all dialed in.

Niiiiiice work Tom! Was it worth the wait?

So i assume that means Smogs car would be in the low 10's...I hope thats the case

As far as the fuel system limits...Evotomig my older brother,... high 500's on this TT dyno...upgraded injectors and pump only.

Ask Mr. Shiv he tuned the car

BTW this isn't a Xede power record....Maybe the title of the thread should be changed?

IIRC Shivs car,Evotomigs car both made more power with Xedes.

Seems that a lot of assumptions are being made already when no one really knows the situation other than me, the one tuning it and others affiliated directly. The car needs a fuel system upgrade....its that simple....that is why we chose to go no further with the tune. Im sure this has been said millions of times but the setup on one car does not mean its best for all cars.....that being said, i dont think Tom would even want to chance running the baby walbro much higher with the investment he has made in this setup.

No one knows the exact conversion ratio for the DD dyno to the Dynojet so making guesses are at best worth....well......nothing. Be happy for the guy...and who knows...once we get to the cfm where this turbo lives we may just have a WEINER.

Congratulations on the temporary numbers THOMAS

Marcus,
If you REALLY think your brother's car made/makes more power than this, you are WAY wrong and I can prove it.
