Vishnu and Evo X???

So time has come and the Evo X is now out in the west coast. Now in the past I was told by Shiv that you guys had a Evo X on order and you will be working on the car. Does this still hold true or will pass up on the Evo X?

Honestly, I think a lot of ex-Vishnu product owners wouldn't buy their products if they released anything new for the EVO X. A lot of XEDE owners are taking a big loss now since there are no more XEDE updates and the value of the XEDEs have plummeted. I wouldn't hold my breathe waiting for them to reply to the OP.

I am an Xede owner....just a fancy paperweight now....Vishnu has dropped off the map on Evos....i think if they DID have anything in the works the forums would have been busy the moment they hit shore side...

I think they realized people with a lot of money own 335's and a lot of younger guys own Evos. Since they can gain so much power from just their piggyback and a tune with the BMW, people will pay top dollar by the truckloads. They won't even have to change their software when the 135 comes out. I hear they might be putting that motor in some 5 series cars as well.

We do have plans for the EVO X. In fact, we just bought one last night. But have been working on it for the last couple of months.

Shiv,

Looking forward to your impressions and tuning.

Ignore the naysayers/harpies/complainers -- the Internet and message boards have an unfortunate tendency to disproportionately amplify the complainers while supporters sit and tune in silently.

Please let us know what you find with the Evo stock, your feelings on tuning potential, and plans for forthcoming products in the Evo X tuning forums!

135, 335, and 535 all share the same engine now so the 5 already has it

And the upcoming X6 will have the same engine as its base motor. The optional engine will be a twin turbo v8. Pretty nice to see everyone hop on the turbo bandwagon these days.

And I'll be happy to keep you guys updated with our Evo X progress.

Cheers,
shiv

I am going to put my hand on the fire for Vishnu. Since the sucessfull arrival of the 335i and the upcoming launch/release of the 135i I believe Vishnu has been working very hard to provide the people with the BMW with a great product, I can atest to that myself..

I don't think he ditched the Evo for the BMW like someone said, he is probably working on both as we speak.

The demand and production of the BMW 335i is 100% to its capacity, the sales are such a sucess that they well surpassed the sales expectations thus the production is to its max and looks like it will be like that for a while. With the addition of the 135i(which I already predict it will be the best seller sport compact car ) it wouldn't be crazy to think or guess that Vishnu as a business is projecting a massive marketing with the 2 models mentioned above plus the 535i.

It all makes sense folks!

my .2c

Thanks for the update, will be looking forward to your Evo X update. Also by chance will be out in the Northeast by TurboTrix anytime soon. I am getting a turbo kit for the car and will like for you to re-tune it.
