New to xede

Ok so i bought my evo a little while ago and it already had an xede in it i have added some other mods since buying the car but havent really messed with the xede, mainly because im not sure exactly how to use the xede. So i need some help, thanks.

Well, it will be best if you had specific questions so we can answer them for you. For starters you need a laptop to connect to the Xede.

also buy evoscan and a tatrix cable to make logs and a wideband after that its easy to tune it

where can i purchase evoscan and the tatrix cable these are the things i cant find

ok i found evoscan, and went to tactrix.com so i just plug the wire derectly into the xede or where or how do i hook up the cable

The tactrix cable hooks up the plug under the steering wheel.

make a search on ecuflash forums ths will help you
and to get hooked up with the xede you need a serialport cable

Assuming your Xede unit was installed properly and has a good tune on it, then you are already using it.

There's nothing to do unless you want to change something about how your car runs.

ya the car was purchased in california with the xede already in it and tuned, i just want the cables and what not just to have them if ever needed

your first mod, take it out and throw it out the window. My friend Xede is overheating for some reason. When driving the car with AC on everything works fine, once you turn it off and temp goes up the red light starts flushing on the xede ....
