Coolguy,

I've been around long enough to come to my own conclusions. I know who most of you are, have met you, etc., was even at the very first meet in Torrance and several there after. Will probably be at this weekends meet to at HB. My opinion is that of the forum there and how it's run. It does not encompase everyone there.

ZERO!I have done five One-Laps with no tickets (knock wood!) and we did not drive slowly.
Remember when talking about the Fuller STi and debating its HP that even though it finished a close second in points to us it was never near us as far as track speed was concerned. Typically it was 2-4 seconds per lap slower but since he was second quickest in class we would only gain a measily five points each time we beat him (except for Hallett1 and the dry skidpad where he finished lower than second).
He did do a great job driving but attrition played a major roll in both of our finishing positions. That is a good point to make that we got to finish as well as we did after I turned in that stunning 71st position because the Vishnu EVO came through like a champ leaving dozens of broken cars in it's wake. We were really lucky to end up near where we belonged overall and in class after my bad start, due to the fact that we could run at 10/10ths every time we went out combined with other cars breaking (or drivers making mistakes that counted. cones etc.). We with a good start would have finished 3rd or 4th. With some areo mods bigger tires and a little more testing (wet skid-pad anyone!) we absolutely could have got the overall this year. No BS, we were that close. Having said that I am happy and proud to have done what we did and want to publicly thank Shiv for letting me play in what is an amazing car. Hopefully we will get some vids up soon from the people who were there that will really show what that car will do. It is really quite silly and I promise we have just started to show this thing off to the non-EVO believers

Unbelievable, what an accomplishment fellas!

One Lap is so grueling from what I hear, and it is a true testament to this vehicle's capability to hold together like it did.

Congratulations!!

Blonde,

That's a fair opinion. I really don't want to spend much time on it and my initial reply was to Shiv's comment and he may know what i'm talking about since he's been frequenting that board lately. That's the last on this subject from me in this thread. Back to the subject One Lap...

On the next one lap, I will gladly offer up my services to hang upside down from the wing on Shiv's car and stare into the tailpipe to see exactly where those flames are coming from and just how big they are!!!

Perfect...we'll put a helmet cam on you and a wide band O2 sensor in you mouth and mount you to that fancy trailer hitch. Do you mind driving long hours at night? That would have been a great help

hitch

Congradulations again!

Speaking of the 'hitch' did we ever get some really good rear photos of where and how the hitch was mounted?

BTW shooting flames reminds me of the Foggy Patronas FP1 superbike I saw last year at Laguna...it sounded like a mad godzilla hornet zipping around the track.

Later,

jcnel.
