That looks to be right around the same amount that "x" was going to charge me if you calculate it taking them five hours at $60/hour. I'd like to head there with you if you're going to let them do it. I read through the entire Engine Runup website today and I have a two-page email I'm sending them tomorrow concerning a few questions. I basically broke out the kit and visualized doing the job myself. Minus a few bits that I have no knowledge in and without the necessary tools, it seems straight forward enough to take about five hours if Murphy doesn't strike. From my reading today, I did notice that there were a few pieces that I want to buy that'll give me a greater comfort level once the kit is installed. So it looks like I'm at the mercy of the United States Postal System!

I am so sorry that I missed your call today. I was in the garage going through boxes!

I looked at my instructions and it turns out this is gonna be pretty easy. You need to call me and we'll try to do them next weekend in my hood.

Anyone w/ Maps?

Well I installed my kit and had it ready to be tuned by "Big Al" (sarcastic) and he said "Well the A/F ratios are all over the place". Basically he didn't want to deal with me any more I'm sure. It's a long story, and not really worth re-hashing.

Anyway, I have a TBE, Buschur MBC, Buschur cone filter, and Walbro. He tuned it at Buschur and I ended up with 307 on their Mustang without the meth. Since he "couldn't do it", I was wondering if anyone has used EcuFlash to tune theirs or even download the maps after you have been tuned for this kit and would be willing to tell me what I need to change.

I REALLY want to use this kit because I spent a lot of time installing it and now it's just sitting there taunting me

I have the EcuFlash software and will order the Tactrix cable if anyone can offer any direction on numbers to change.

Thanks!

I cant find the time to get it done. Is that issue enough?

I finally got all my stuff together. I bought the Stage II (MAP) used from a guy and purchased the Safe Injection and solenoid. I cant wait to get this installed, but I dont think it will happen until Oct after I get married.

I used the IG2 source for key on. I chose the factory denso charge spray motor fuse - even though it's like 20 guage coming out to motor, it's like 14 guage going in.

So I just pulled the skinny OEM 20 guage wire out of the fuse holder, soldered my own 14 guage wire to it, and replaced the 10 amp fuse with a 15 amp. Then I routed the power wire through clamps along to center console floor hole, then outside underneath (secured real well away from driveshaft, also woven insulated) and ran up eng bay firewall to controller.

So my W/M uses factory I/C motor fuse location

What a pain in the *** that was , but it's done and I know that my controller will recieve 12vdc when asked.

For grounds, there all over the place - out of view though.

Take your time with the wiring and do it right, one bad splice can easily cost you a motor - even with SI. Note: If you lose your main power, you loose both pump and failsafe protection, thats why my pump has seperate fuse

Hey bro. What does W/M stand for? It's nearly mid-night and I'm not thinking straight at all.

OK, so I finally got around to doing this. Does this sound right?...

Battery pos. term --> crimped&soldered loop --> wire --> inline fuse --> wire --> red wire in the harness to the controller

Did I miss anything?

Also, do the power/warning lights have positive and ground specific wires or is it just a matter of one goes to pos. and one goes to ground?

Thanks!
-Denny

Looks like you have it wired correctly and yes the leds have a power and ground side, but they are not labeled since both wires coming out of them are white...
