I got one!

I picked up a base 9 last night. I called around this past weekend and spoke with Big 2 and they said that they didn't have any base models but could get what ever they needed. Being in the business, I knew Mark Mitsu had the cars. I went there yesterday morrning and they had a black, blue and white. The black is what I wanted but the hood was all messed up and they weren't in the spirit of the holidays in regards to my trade in so I left. I ended up going over to Big 2 and told Bob (sales mgr) what Mark Mitsu had and if we could agree on numbers, I would take the blue one. Well, he made it happen and I am stoked about the EVO.

I highly doubt I will modify this EVO the way I did my STi. DynoComp had the STi dialed in and it ran very well but I lost my a$$ when I sold it with all the mods. I only plan on tinting the car and that should hold me over till next spring. I also plan on doing a base run at DynoComp to see what #'s the EVO puts down stock.

If it wasn't for seeing Johnny's MR at Najibs house, I think I would have been content not having a fun car. Once the baby is born (Feb 6th) I will probably fall of the face of the earth for a few months. I look forward to meeting some of you guys at events in the future.

Nice ride. Too bad Mark mitsu people sucked. People will usually ignore you unless you write "I must buy a car now" on your face. Wonder what are they thinking.

The Evo IXs have been putting out some nice number stock. A reflash wouldn't hurt

Dave, it's out in the East Valley off Superstition Springs and the 60. Again, I am in the business and Bob did everything that Mark Mitsu wouldn't. I know right now they do not have any EVO's because they traded an SSL for mine with Mark Mitsu.
Bob won't play games with you and he can get you what ever 9 you want. It's a totally different driving experience from the STi. In your profession, I think it's hard to argue that the 9 will be a lot more mod friendly with more returns in regards to HP over the STi.

I sent you a pm over on nasioc actually.

Yea i already have an 8, so i was going to trade my g35 for a 9 and have both. I just want to leave the 9 stock, as the 8 is pretty modded. It really all depends on what they will give me for my g35, and how much they are willing to work with me on price of the Evo.

Some things remain the same. Glad u finally realized that the Evo brings alot to the table; but if it does not fill you up stock, there is a buffet of power to be had at a decent price.
