Rich likes to tune more lean then rich. But idk how accurate his dyno is or whats going on exactly.
I dynod today at DynoComp, my AF was hitting 10s... very low 10s as well.. And it showed boost was only going about 19psi. I only got about 280-290whp on it as well.
I thought this was verrrrry weird, so i went back to Mynes performance where my car is orig tuned. We threw it on the dyno and my AF was basically in the 11s the whole time; also was hitting about 21psi, and making 309whp. This was all on pump 91.
Now i dont know what exactly is going on so you all can be the judge on which is accurate...
I can post up dyno papers if everyone really wants, just have to get em scanned.

Hmmmm interesting, I know both dynos are low reading dynos but not by that much of a difference, I could be wrong though. My pump gas dyno #s are 280hp 280tq same modes as you less MBC and my A/F started at 11.5 and went to 10.9/8 at high rpms. " Oh and this was in mid August "

That whitepaper talks about max power, not how long the motor will last going WOT for 20+mins in open track sessions. Re-read what I posted.

Max power is great and all but I like my motors to last. haven't blown one yet.

Do you want a dyno queen or a car you can take to the track for a whole year in temps ranging from 100F+ to 60F, beat on it all day long, then drive it home again event after event?

other poster, yes, I know this is a 100 octane tune, and that was what I was responding to.

I want everyone to know I am not bashing dynocomp whatsoever. I know nothing about them at all.

I have never seen a car blown up by Dynocomp. However I know of some kids that have taken thier car to Dynocomp for tuning and then did some extra things out side of the tuning that caused problems. If you look at the amount of cars tuned by Dynocompin the pass 3yrs to Mynes I would say there is a big difference but that does not discredit Mynes by any means. All I am saying is you cant account for that 1 or 2 people that tune thier cars and then go put on a 100 shot of Nitrous or funk with thier boost controller and BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Its like going to Mistu and say they build funked-up clutches and cheap ****, Oh but you have 300+ whp and 50 passes at the track IMO

Just so you know I agree with the Dyno queen theory and my car has ran pretty good in AZ on pump. My EVO on 91oct has just as fast or faster ET/MPH as other EVOs in AZ mod for mod that claim more power then my car does, not taking anything away from other EVO owners in AZ. But yes I rather see track results then big dyno #s that dont match ET/MPH.

If I wasn't such a ***** I would head out to the track with you guys. I am just to afraid that something will break and will find a way to void my warranty since I have a boost gauge in the car.
