BTW Mark, how many more shipments are going to be arriving before Mitsubishi stops production? Do you have a lot more on order? I am looking to buy around August or September if all goes well. I just want to assure that I can get mine (Electric Blue IX without SSL) before they are all gone.

Still waiting for a reply lol. You still there Mark?

actually, this isn't the case with InterCity.. they pickup from your location with the truck that will deliver the car.. they are more expensive but you get what you pay for IMHO

I'd be shocked if you found a bad review of Intercity. Porsche uses them exclusively for delivery of the Carrera GT throughout the country

I just drove home in a WW IX GSR. Mark made the experience great. It took more time for the guys to wash and detail the car than anything else. Love the car. Thanks Mark. Get an EVO while you still can.

I've been a little nervous about DAS myself, although I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

My car was picked up from the dealership on Tuesday, April 25th (I paid extra for door-to-door delivery) and as of yet is still sitting at the terminal in California. When I called customer service the other day I was told they were waiting on a trailer to get to that particular terminal (although I wasn't given any time-frame as to when that would be).

I'm not worried as of yet, because they're delivery date wasn't scheduled until May 9th, so I still have plenty of time. As long as they get it to me at, or before, that date I really don't have anything to complain about.

Still is troublesome about the floor mats though... I know they're insured for up to $50,000, but it really doesn't say too much about the care they give to these vehicles if something as simple as floor mats goes missing. Makes me wonder what else they're doing in my vehicle as well. I definately want to compare the odometer statement from when the vehicle was picked up to when it's dropped off at my house.

Delayed post but I received my WW MR from Southcoast a couple weeks ago (I live in Denver). I visited Mark first on a business trip and couldn't believe the number of Evo's on the lot. Mark was a great guy and we chatted for a while.

No more than a week later I decided to take the plunge on the 31,999 deal...glad I did! Shipped it through DAS and it arrived maybe 10 days later (2 days earlier than promised) in perfect condition.

My hassles: Colorado DMV was a PITA. Finally had all the paperwork they were looking for after 3 visits and had it registered last week.

Also...I'm a big believer in buying things in cash. Well, I decided to finance the Evo and lo & behold when Mark ran a credit check, it was like the wife and I didn't exist! So despite the fact that we pay all our bills and debts in full, we're considered more "risky" than others. So if you're like us, keep a credit card or something else around to keep your credit alive if for nothing else.

As for the Evo...unfreakin real. I had a cammed 01 SS prior to this and it feels just as fast stock but 10x more fun to drive. I've NEVER driven a car that you just want to drive fast ALL the time.

So thumbs up to Mark and the crew at Southcoast...
