Union Mitsubishi

This is the price I paid at Union Mitsubishi. $28,998 for a WW IX GSR (Non-SSL) with 5 miles on the clock, if your looking for another dealer other then the South Coast family, give Mitch a call at 323-735-5555, if Union dosn't have it, they can find it.

Was gonna probably buy one next month but with the price change I might as well Spend a little extra and not have to go through the hassle of shipping a new car.

Does this deal with Cali state tax or is the tax vary by counties in CA ?

I might get an IX by late june if all goes well. I live in Vegas and I'm trying to decide how different it would be. Clark County's tax rate is 7.75%

I bought a Wicked White MR from South Coast at the end of last week and was very pleased with the service. They took care of everything quickly and professionally. Even with the $1000 jump the prices are still awfully low. A local dealership was asking $7000 over MSRP for the same car I got for almost $5000 under MSRP (although I'm sure they would have come down on that $7000 over).

Hey Mark do you know when you would be getting the EVO IX SE?
I might wait and get that instead of the SSL.

How much is Cali state tax ? I'm trying to decide if it would be cheaper to buy in CA or here in Vegas. Nevada sales tax is like 7.50 - 7.75% ... so if i'm right i would be paying an extra 3k or so in taxes I hope someone can help me out.

I am going to look at a TB IX tonight and see what the dealer will give me for my OZ.

If you buy from south coast and have it shipped, you will not have to pay cali tax, but will have to pay nevada tax when you register it there. cali tax appears to be about the same as nevada, 7.5-7.75%, so tax is going to be a wash either place. if you buy it from south coast in nevada, you will have to have it shipped, adding a grand(give or take). if you go to cali and buy directly from them, you will have to pay cali tax, but then no tax in nevada when you title/register the car, but you will have to drive it home. either way, you will probably end up paying about the same in tax, it's all about the price of the car, and from the looks of south coast and the posts, you won't get their prices even close to being matched.
advantage to driving back from cali; get the break-in miles out of the way early
just have to vary your driving speeds coming back and take it easy....
I know this from buying my evo in oregon, and from getting into a "discussion" with mark about 3 months ago, thinking I was right and spreading knowledge on the board. turns out all I was spreading was manure.

good luck..

What Dealer incentives? Oh well my EVO IX Dreams are over. BTW with gas prices topping $3.00 a gallon the EVO will become more of a garage queen.

Didn't go tonight.

called dealership tho - salesman said they match all competitors prices EXCEPT CALIFORNIA'S

He said the cars have the cali emmissions packages on them. I'm calling bullsh*t on this one - wasn't there another post here saying that there are no cali emmissions packages ???
