i guess since jesse gonna get a flash. we can compare the 2.
Just to let everyone know I had a great time time with everyone and the cars really put out some impressive numbers. That stock ECU just loads the timing to these cars that is why they make so much. Hope everyone had as good as time as I did. I also would like someone that has had thier car tuned with an AFC to come back for a cut rate Dyno Pull just to see if the Stock ECU has learned or over ridden the AFC tune. Whom ever would like to do this test with us would be great, just PM me and I will tell you some things to make sure you don't do so the test is 100% accurate. Guys this is how we ACCEL in our industry through continious testing and R&D we have did it for years, and this is what makes us DIFFERENT from other Tunning Facilities.

THANKS HPH

Ok calm down Justin. I went home, ate and fell asleep watching TV. Here are the official numbers.

Vegasboy baselined at 270 hp and 255 torque. 91 tune made 278 hp and 257 torque. 100 octane tune made 304 hp and 264 torque. Both tunes were made on 22 psi. Factory freak. Needs injectors and cams. Should put him over 330 hp on 100.

My baseline was 276 hp and 248 torque. 91 tune made 287 hp and 257 torque. 100 tune made 310 hp and 278 torque. 22 psi for 91 and 25 for 100.

Manny baselined at 265 hp] and 262 torque. Could not dyno any further due to suck *** AEM intake leaning out his engine. But he is making 40 more hp and 22 ft lb torque over a stock '05 EVO on the same dyno. Mods are turboback, O2 housing, mbc and AEM filter. '05's are strong EVOs.

Eddie baselined about a week ago and made 226 hp and 240 torque stock on an '05 EVO.

John in his '06 EVO MR 9 made 259 hp and 251 torque with a downpipe and catback exhaust.

All in all it was a fun afternoon. I'd like to thank Alfred from Tuning Technologies for making the trip at a moments notice and Matt from HPH for getting us in on the dyno. Good day today for the local EVO crew. Had a great time and good to see people cars getting taken care of.

Tomorrow is part two with Rene and Jeff getting tuned. Good luck.

not to take anything away from lil alex. but im not sure if u can call his car a factory freak. doesnt he have an hotside on his car??? if he does it coulda takes away from the "factory freak" notion.

n-e-wayz what was the air fuel ratio for lil alex and mannys cars??? did they still have the buschur settings still in there??? i wanna compare our air fuels to see why i was so lean????

alex are u goin to todays tuning session? call me if u do

well, factory freak they say because of those numbers, most people need cams, and more...

im just 6 hp shy of alex (gonzo) and he has cams + piping + 3 more psi than me...

justin, that 304 hp, is at 22 psi of boost, my car couldnt take any more boost.

but yeah.. idk.

about the leaness, me and manny were fine. manny was a little up there but not no 12.9 afr

I also have a hotside buddy.

Your probably lean because of your intake. Swap it out with your stock airbox and go back to re-dyno to verify if that was the reason why your AFRs were so lean. I'll be there but not until after 3:30pm. I got to get my will notarized at that time. Shouldn't take long.

Hey guys, first tuning day went great. The cars all ran well with one exception of Mannys 05 having some issues. Those will be sorted out shortly.

I just wanted to make a couple notes and remind everyone that peak numbers are just that..PEAKS.....you only make that number for a brief moment in time....the most important thing is area under the curve and powerband overall. All of these cars experienced overall powerband gains and torque numbers. I'm sure we would rather pick up only 7 to 8 peak hp but get 10 to 15 ft lbs of torque and 10 additional horsepower gains over large long term portions of the powerband. This will net you substantial gains in your 1/4 times as your 60ft times will decrease and your traps go up.

As for the ecu learning and cancelling the SAFC settings out over the long term.......hmmmmmmmm.........I tuned Jesse's car at my shop in California Id say about 4 to 5 months ago I'm guessing.............and seeing those numbers it put down on pump...................Id say it's running awesome. IMPRESSIVE!!! Ill see you guys later...............someone give me a call ..............I need some breakfast!!!
Guess its the palms
