I think I have what you are talking about sitting under my bed sam. Does it just go over the stock mirror and it has a wider range for you to see?

 

essentially, yes. I have one of those automatic dimming mirrors in my subaru and its gone to **** so I am needing a new one. Where did you get it from?

 

Mine was just on my car when I bought it. Mine doesn't dim tho I don't think.
