Hey guys, wanted to check in here in the UT forum. I'm a noob to the forum and new evo owner, just picked up a '06 IX SE. Live in Cedar Hills, work in SLC. Glad to see the evo community is strong here in UT. I come from the BMW world but am glad to be here.

Hay Wes are you going to be running the evo9 turbo with your new set-up?

 

I've already got the evo 9 turbo on the car but you missed a couple post the block has a big hole in the back side where dipstick goes so im going to pull the motor this weekend & see if heads okay as well as what happend. The car was running just ****ing **** too and then it blows up doing 80mph ac on just cruising and pieces flying under my car put a hole in the gas tank too

 

Well i didn't know if you were going to a larger turbo or planed on the same setup with the new motor

Yes I'm going to stay with 9 turbo 91oct+meth

maybe later on down the road by having a 2.3 I can put a twin scrolled 30r on it. Thats what I would do if I were going to a bigger turbo but no plans for that right now

It's TB and currently debadged although I am looking for a good place to buy the UK rear deck emblem. Any recommendations? Lancershop is out. Also once I pick up a Cobb catback (I need something quiet) where is the best place for a custom tune?
