Evo's are fast off the line, but you have to be willing to let it rip. Otherwise you have to wait for the boost to roll in. I myself don't like to launch my car.

Boo Vishnu! Super expensive for what you get. Put the parts together yourself.

Exhaust
1. 3in catback: Helix, Perrin, HKS, Buschur
2. 3in downpipe: same companies
3. 3in cat-delete

you bog the evo at all and it takes along time to make up ground on a car that has good torque. launching anything under 5k imo is bogging.

Yeah the Injen stuff is pretty hot!

After exhaust you just need an air filter, and boost control and you're good to go.

Have any of you gone with a HKS exhaust system? If so, is it much louder, and is there a big performance gain? How much boost are you guys at?

i don't think hks is very popular in the evo community. there's much better stuff out there for a lot less.

i've only seen 10lbs. so far in my car.

i think zachs at 15.

edge performance in o-town. there's another place in slc but i'll never recommend them. wouldn't even do that to my worst enemy.

He's just messin' with you.

most people around here run 20 psi. A few of the big turbo guys run more, or less. Modern Garage has an AWD dyno in Murray. Take a ride in someones car and you'll see the difference a few tasty parts make.
