that has nothing to do with kiddo. i spoke with al and he said if i wanted to arrange doing dyno tunes he would but recommended not to. i'm sure if we setup a dyno tune in advance someome here locally with a dyno (and no not that one place ) they would open on the weekend.

But how many people would be willing to spend the extra cash for the dyno is what I was trying to say...maybe I'm mistaken...I think it's funny how much you hate them, we should all get together and open our own shop

i think a lot of people would. just not me. it's not worth it to me cause i don't have a base dyno like you. i never even drove the car b4 i ripped it apart.

as for opening a shop, been working on that. already have the shop and people lined up. just need a dyno and paint booth. but it's a low priority right now cause i have to juggle two other businesses which a third would kill me. or at least my spare time.

btw, hate's putting it mildly. you try to screw me and i'll never forgive you. them, i'll never forgive.

ok, ok, in all seriousness though, it's too bad you don't have the juggling ability, as much as I don't hate them as much as you, I'd rather go somewhere else

would be nice to do it all, but not with this car. I made that mistake with my jeep. Spent over 10g's getting it how I wanted it, now I cant eaven drive it. I think I'm just going to go with the exhaust and tune for now. Might do fuel pump. Why do you guys think the fuel pump is so important?

Road tune is what the car does...Dyno is a simulation some better than others.

Up through a Buschur Stage IV (even including the head)my car's "drivability" was unaffected..(well it got unbelivibly fast). I didn't start needing to alter my driving style till the Big turbos went on....(and with the 2.4 this should go back to normal ;-)...)

You make it sound a lot more serious than a change in a verbal quote for clutch replacement. I know you consider a verbal as binding.

I'm very pleased with the work they've done on my car. Volk messed up on the offsets for my TE37s. Christian even showed me the invoice. Modern could have been a$$es and said ... not our fault. Instead they ordered new wheels and paid for the polished lip. Not sure who did the work on the polished lip, but the clear coat looks like sh*t.

Rear differential failed on the car. Honda dealership in Burlingame claimed it was the transmission. Turns out it wasn't. Modern covered the replacement of the transmission including parts and labor ... and on top of that did all the labor on the differential replacement at no charge.

I shop around for all the parts I purchase. I get competitive estimates on labor rates and install hours. When Modern is more expensive as with the (AEM EMS, FD gears, rotors) they are straight with me and I get the part elsewhere.

They get a from me.

there are few guys from the local scca club coming. not sure if i'm gonna be able to make it now. too many obligations piling up plus still don't know how the car will be by them. won't know how it runs til al gets here on march 5th. that'll give me two weeks to test and tune the car (motor and suspension) b4 the event. not sure if i'll have the time. oh and money is starting to become a factor.... damn car is becoming a huge money pit. not the cars fault..... i just have a problem, BIG problem!
