exhaust i'm thinking just black for rust protection, and i just thought it might look cool. the wheels are going gunmetal, but i'm torn because becky said i can get some enkie rpf1's come springtime! so don't know if i will powdercoat or rattlecan until then.

hey, i also wanted to ask you where can i find factory alignment specs for the evo? i want more camber in the front. i just want to make sure anthony was correct on the way he set up our cars.

I have the factory shop service manuals on CD. I will burn you a copy.

If you want more camber adjust the 2-way camber bolt on the strut. I looked at mine this weekend and he set that bolt on the "low" setting. Pull it out, spin it 180 degrees so the little inscribes arrow points out and you'll have 1 more degree of camber!

well i'll be an alcoholic next week. .

thanks for your input rob. when you said band-aid to me it sorta scared me at first till you explained it. i know what you're saying but part of the reason i'm gonna run this kit is not necc. for a lot more power. car should run safer as long as the kit doesn't malfuntion. i'm not gonna be real aggressive with the boost or the tune.

that is a very bad idea if you do that. it affects your toe big time and that is also very important how the car drives plus how your tires wear. not just camber.

i'll have to look it up. i'm not at my shop with the alignment equip. i never go off of oe specs cause they suck on any car. most oe specs setup for understeer for saftey reasons. hardly any of them setup for perf. or tire wear. that i use my own settings that are stored in my head.

i have ken garff mitsu calling me back soon on it. i only want to know factory because i want to go slightly more negative camber than stock. so i won't destroy the tires to bad! if i remember correctly, my aligmnent guy says camber is at .05 neg front and 1.5 neg rear. what would you say to 1.5 neg or 2.0 neg? i'll leave the rear aligmnent alone. just trying to sqeeze the best i can out of tein springs, progress rear sway bar!

Al had a sell on the Wal FP like...a month ago, I think, for ~86 shipped...but the deal is probably gone, you could check with him though, I just remember seeing it and thinking "whoa, that's a good deal" there's a guy selling one used here for 75 + shipping...

let me tell you guys again.... every evo i've aligned now the factory settin was different by a whole bunch. every car i've done i look at the current setup and get feedback from the driver how the car felt and what they wanted it to do. i'll align it according to what they want and set it from how it was set b4 the alignment. now if you're not in tune with your car, i just set it up from what you tell me you want. the last mr i did the guy called me annd said how amazed he was on how easy the car was to drive. i set it up the way he told he wanted it to handle. i'm not gonna give specifics cause every setup is different when you change the stock suspension. also i've learned that no one can duplicate what i've done even giving them the settings.

Hey Ray I just talked to a guy I know and he said a MR in SLC that just got back from having Bushur upgrade his car with all the goodies, including ALKY injection! You should check out his car.
